Beautiful hotel at the foot of the road up to Vezelay Abbey. We had a lovey large room with good bathroom and wonderful views overlooking town and countryside. We enjoyed a drink on the terrace.

I had the most incredible experience staying at À la Renommée Hotel in France. From day one, Laurence and Stéphanie, the lovely owners, made me feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, and the bedroom itself was cozy and beautifully decorated. I truly felt at home throughout my stay. It’s also worth noting that the hotel is only a 30-minute walk to Vézelay, with breathtaking views along the way, following the pilgrim’s path. It’s a lovely and peaceful walk. A big thank you to Laurence and Stéphanie for making my visit so special. Also, I have to mention that the wine, honey, and fresh truffle they sell are absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming, welcoming, and peaceful getaway. Lovely family run hotel. Immaculately clean room, friendly helpful staff. Pool much appreciated. Excellent breakfast and helpful recommendations for local restaurants - the one 200m away was great!

This is the second time we have stayed at Les Capucins and this time we had the opportunity to eat at their restaurant, the food was amazing and reasonably priced. The room was very clean and comfortable and was perfect for our stay with our dog as we had direct access to the garden.
