Although my main reason for visiting Bois-Colombes was to meet friends who live there, it is a fun place to visit, especially on Saturdays when the street market is in full swing. There’s a little restaurant beside “Ecole de Cegogne” that has good prices and good food if you want more expensive there’s one right beside the hotel named “Rizzo”. For croissants there’s a “Patisserie “ across the street with good coffee and good pastries. There’s also a nice park where you can go for a walk. Hotel was very clean and staff extremely friendly and helpful, Only reason for the low rating is our room was located on a busy street and got woke up at 6am every morning to delivery lorry and people talking and last night work up at 2am tp loud music being played. Air con didnt work in the work in room so we had to have the window open. Hotel is in a good location close to all the amenities. People who travel by train, the station is very close. Hotel parking was available for those who travel by car. Reception was very helpful. Our safety locker was not working. When we called the reception, they sent a maintenance guy immediately. It was just a loose connection. Breakfast was quite good. I liked nothing.
I liked nothing. Though I communicated with the owner and told him about the travel issues I was experiencing, he left me standing in the cold for nearly an hour (while he was at some type of practice). He didn't want to forward access/entry details, unless I used WhatsApp. When he finally provided the building access info, I walked into a TOTALLY DARK entry area (at the bottom of a stairway I couldn't even see). I had to use my phone, to see even an indication of what was in the area. I stood in the dark of the building lobby, waiting for one of the neighbors in the building (who he phoned, after I entered the building), to provide some assistance to get up 5 flights of stairs, with a very heavy suitcase and backpack. I didn't see anything in the listing about this unit being on the 5th floor, with no elevator. If I'd seen that info, I would not have booked it. I'm 68 years old and the thought of needing to go up and down 5 flights of stairs each time I needed to enter and exit the building, was more than I could bare. Add to that, when I checked out, I would also have difficulty getting my belongings down those 5 flights of stairs (without some assistance). The owner had absolutely no sympathy. I told him I couldn't do it and that I couldn't stay there. It was going to be too much on my body. Had to find a hotel in the area and pay for another room. I had hoped he would at least refund me one night's stay (out of the two night's I'd paid for), but he refunded nothing.Guest review byKennetteUnited States

Good location - short walk to the centre of Bois Colombes and the train station. The bar was busy in the evenings so a nice atmosphere, my only small suggestion would be to have a better stocked bar, and possibly more staff in the evening.
