Very quiet pricey place, bird farm. Beautiful views around. Very good location in Champagne - easy and quick access to all places in Champagne. Close to the most important vineyard landscapes. Well equipped house. Great hearty breakfast. We had a small room without a view, but it was suitable for a few nights. The hosts are friendly but do not speak English, and we did not speak French, so the communication was very short and emotional. In the evening, it is worth ordering an inexpensive dinner, especially if you like duck. Highly recommend, especially for a few days or a week.

Valerie was a lovely, welcoming and warm host and nothing was too much trouble for her. The gardens, rooms and common areas are all lovely. The breakfast was good and we also enjoyed one of Valerie’s home cooked dinners. We also loved the company of the doggos Nemo and Gizmo !

What an excellent overnight stay. Just a shame we could not stay longer. Our lovely host was perfect and went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely stay. Her recommendation for an evening meal in Vertus was spot on. The breakfast in the morning was worth every penny, just because it included the best croissant I have ever had! In the morning, we took the optional tour of the winery. Was that a good experience? Of course it was!

A lovely place to stay! We arrived in the middle of the harvest and got to experience the everyday life of the winemaking couple Julien and Sarah Launois! They are very welcome in a relaxed environment. Our Cocker spaniel Enzo felt at home on the farm. An excellent French breakfast is served, and you also have access to a large common kitchen. The rooms are large and individually furnished. Very nice! We thank the couple for their hospitality and can warmly recommend them!

We recently stayed at Château d’Étoges for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the impeccable hospitality and professionalism of the staff. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making us feel as though we had stepped into an episode of Downton Abbey. The champagne was exquisite, perfectly complementing the enchanting ambiance of the château. Both dining experiences exceeded our expectations. L’Orangerie provided a Michelin-star-worthy dinner that was a true culinary masterpiece, while the other restaurant offered equally remarkable cuisine with refined flavors and presentation. Breakfast was an experience in itself—abundant, fresh, and absolutely worth it. It provided the perfect start to our day, ensuring we were well-prepared for exploring the beautiful Champagne region.     Warm and friendly staff, good food, best bed ever! Completely charming 3 star hotel (but the French do this so well) set amongst the Champagne vineyards which makes it a pretty drive to get to. Quiet, peaceful and the dinner was more than we expected - it’s lovely to have a restaurant in the hotel you stay in after six hours of driving - and you must reserve a table for dinner as the restaurant here is popular.

    The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. it's not luxurious but it's not luxury pricing. It's a fair price. Breakfast was good. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly excellent and at both dinner and breakfast they took care to cater for my gluten-free son. It was very quiet.

    Beautifully quiet village setting in the heart of the champagne region. Large room, really comfortable bed superb breakfast. So much choice of high quality products. Efficient staff. Not enough space for secure parking but public parking available adjacent to hotel.
