Location was beautiful with bures directly above the sandy beach. Great swimming and snorkeling directly in front of resort and surf break only 2km out in front. Manager & staff were amazing - super friendly, great service and really helpful. The food was very good and meals with Spanish Mackerel were exceptional. Private, peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do. The full day around island snorkeling tour with picnic and smoked fish on the beach was a highlight. Incredible coral and fish on the 5 snorkeling sites we were taken to.

The staff does everything to make sure you are having a good time, with local guides (Rafa and Karly) arranging and going with you on the beautiful trips all over the island (like the Bouma Waterfalls, Lavena Coastal Walk, the water slide etc). The communication with Maravu was easy and efficient. Will recommend Maravu to everyone who wants to visit the beautiful island of Taveuni.

The snorkelling out the back of the hotel was lovely. There was a large staff to customer ratio which meant there was always someone to help you. Lots of lovely plants at the hotel and the rooms were nice. Free water refills is always appreciated.
