We were extremely happy with our choice as the resort provided exactly what we were looking for: - reasonable value for money - small island with not a lot of people to get that private feeling - calm and silent place As mentioned by others, the staff is the absolute highlight and your relationship feels like between friends and not between customer and service provider. It helps that you are meeting the same people each day, on day 2 or 3 you are kinda happy to see them each morning. The bures are perfectly adequate in what they provide. Beachfront view - the sea literally comes almost to your doorstep at high tide. The bathroom was fine, during our stay the hot water and water pressure was acceptable. Snorkeling right on the beach was also great and you can obtain masks and fins from the dive shack and keep them for the duration of your stay. The food is also fine, everything we tried was good - from basics such as sandwiches and woks to one of the fancier fish meals.

If I could give this 11 out of 10 I would. What I love most about this gem of a hotel is that it doesn’t feel like you’re at a hotel or a resort, but like you’re staying in a super glamorous private home of your super glamorous friend. We stayed for 5 days, and it was heaven. They pick you up from the airport, with the super friendly Rueben, and then you get swept into this garden jungle paradise with lovely romantic burres (you feel like you’re in a Taylor Swift music video) in the middle of a jungle / bush tranquility. There’s a bar and great restaurant on site - and if you can’t find anyone at the bar to make you a drink you can just WhatsApp the manager and they’ll bring drinks to you - and a great pool and fantastic location to the airport. But hands down the best part is the host, the owner Mrs B, who is quite possibly one of the most exceptional hosts & all round superstars we’ve ever met. She went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing time, from organising Fijian curry to be made that night at the restaurant so we could try it, to making sure breakfast stayed open late when we slept in, and just hanging out and having incredible chats. She’s absolutely phenomenal and made our visit super magical. She’s a true star.

We had the best stay at Beachcomber. The food was delicious, the room clean and the location absolutely stunning. What really made it for us was the kind staff who really went above and beyond. They knew you by name, were always happy to help and made our trip so memorable - big shout out to Fresh! Our first trip to Fiji won’t be our last!

Lin, Villi and Lucy looked after us really well. Close to shops and restaurants. 40 minutes walk to the beach, taxis charged FJD 10 We had a red vented bulbul giving us an early morning call.
