The atmosphere, the superfriendly staff, the eye for detail, the superb restaurant: everything was wonderful. It is an oasis of peace and calm, only 15 minutes by car from the centre of San Sebastian.     Orio is a lovely little sea side town.

    Orio is a lovely little sea side town. Not picturesque as such, the beach is the main draw and the town has shops, bars and restaurants enough to make a stay fun. The locals all seemed very friendly and welcoming. In this area few speak Engligh (one attraction for us) but all the shop and restaurant staff were patient while we worked through Google Tranlate or my little phrase book.

    The view of the beach from the apartment is magnificent, we never get tired of it. The apartment is very nicely decorated, very well equipped and modern kitchen, nothing is missing, very large dressing room perfect for long stays. The village of Orio is very charming. Very close to San Sebastian for a visit to this beautiful city. Easy access to the entire Spanish Basque coast, magnificent.

    We had a couple of issues which were sorted straight away so they aren't mentioned below. There had been a room mix up so we ended up with an upgrade which was nice. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself was modern and clean. The bar and terrace were very nice.

    It is a nice apartment in a newly constructed building, which looks like its over 100 years old. The location is great, close to cafes and restaurants, not far away from a beach (nice walking distance). Overall, we loved Orio and the apartment.
