The location is pretty much out of the way - and, frankly, the town of Cangas de Narcea is not especially interesting. However, the Parador is lovely - we liked everything about it - it's what you would expect from a Parador. So, if you want to chill out in beautiful surroundings ( the countryside is spectacular) this is the place to visit and stay in.

The rooms were newly done and beautifully fitted out. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and bathroom. the area is very quiet so sleep was great!! Location is on the Camino Primitivo. Restaurant and bar is very welcoming and food was good too.

Spacious, warm, and very clean room with a nice view of the mountains. Internet coverage is not the best but that's a price that you pay if you choose to stay up in the mountains.
