We really liked breakfasts, the mattresses were very comfortable, it is not something obvious in hotels as they are usually too soft. Location is great! Near to seaport and promenade, very close to shopping centers and nice restaurants. Great idea is also free drink if you dont want the room cleaning- tea is fabulous 😊 Thank you for the awesome stay!

We arrived in our own - car parking was very easy and it was easy to recharge our car. Very polite and helpful people at the Reception made the check-in seamless. My wife and I had a suite with a grand view of the inner Kiel harbour so we had a good meeting place with our daughter and grandchild, who had a normal room, that they also were very satisfied with. We were a little sad to learn that the hotel restaurant Pier 16 was closed in the evening but fully understand it as our visit was in the off-season. It lead us to find good restaurants outside the hotel. The Atlantic is situated close to a small ferry that offers trips inside the harbour and to the “must visit when in Kiel” Uboot memorial at Labou. Shopping opportunities are manyfold in the vicinity of the Atlantic I forgot to mention the hotel breakfast which gave us a very good start every morning and again manned by very helpful and very polite staff. I also met the cleaner and the person that refilled our minibar - again very polite and helpful persons. All in all we had a memorable and excellent stay at the Atlantic Kiel. I have already strongly recommended the Atlantic to my work collegues and friend and other family members. Many thanks for the chokolate in our room and for making our stay a very pleasent one. Moin and Danke Schoen. We will be back !

This port city is famous for its prominent Nord-Ostsee Kanal, which is the world’s busiest canal. It features bike and walking paths which are set along the 99 km promenade.

On a wet Sunday morning in Kiel, the maritime museum on the harbourside was a welcome find. A survey of the city's history from fishing to 19th century yachting regattas, and of course the Naval heritage. Good English translations . Friendly staff.

Kiel is a City that is very welcoming and where it is easy to get around. There is plenty of activities and things to look at in museums and shops. Easy and many (cheap) shopping possibilities and many good restaurants. Certainly worth a visit.

Kiel seems to be a nice town with a broad range of shops an amenities. We did not go there by choice, but to attend a family event involving the death of a close relative. Our stay was short so I am not the best person to give an opinion, but the amenities we did use were fine. There were some nice restaurants. The big event there is Kiel week, when the harbour filled up with boats. Kiel week took place during our stay and we saw some magnificent three masted schooners sailing along the Kiel canal. At the Baltic end of the canal we saw a regatta, of small yachts sailing about in a very disciplined way. If visitors pick the dates of their visit carefully they can have a very interesting stay, but of course, when these events are taking place, prices rise quite a lot.

A bit laid back town, very nice vibe - no hurry or rush in the city. The sea-side area in winter was cold and windy, but still a nice place to see (maybe not stay). There was a nice christmas market with stalls on the square.

Not a real tourist town. Nothing to really encourage people to stay there. Do not bother to ask police for assistance or information, too much effort for them. The information centre needs better souvenirs.

I enjoyed my short stay in Kiel, Germany especially the hotel where I stayed. Premiere Classe Hotel is situated in the heart of the old town with many restaurants nearby to choose from, as well as shops for quick shopping. I just love the vibe in that area of Kiel.
