Suspect this is a winter destination mostly. In summer it is very quiet with few options for evening dining. Very accessible location by car, with rail connections to Munich and Salzburg. Beautiful location at the base of the mountains. Everything you need for an easy stay is in the town- laundry, supermarket, petrol station etc. Easy access by Carr to towns around the big lake. Lots of cycling and hiking going on, and easy to hire electric bikes and boats. Just 11km from Austrian border with cheaper petrol and even better scenery. Impressive resturant, limited menue. The spa is bigger than I expected-it includes a cold pool-great after a sauna. Parking is directly outside the hotel.
