This location is unique, a 7 km gravel trip up through the mountains near Nicoya. The views to the ocean and mountains spectacular. The sunset unforgettable. Perfect service, cocktails, restaurant, all perfect. Chris and his colleagues were communicative, friendly and told lots of interesting stories. I will never forget my stay here, not like any other place. Truly a holy mountain.

We had a wonderful time and stayed longer although it was raining because all the staff, especially Ines were exceptionally friendly and helpful. And the food was always delicious.

Probably the best hotel we stayed at in Costa Rica. Everyone is very kind and helpful, the smallest issues are being quickly resolved. The pool area is so well designed, we usually don’t use the hotel pools, but here we really enjoyed it. It’s close to the beach and everything we needed.

What an exceptional pleasant surprise! From checking in till checking out. Our villas/units were fantastic. Serviced every day by the most friendly housekeeping staff and the villas are very well equipped. Front of house staff - Aáron, was super helpful and professional. Swimming pools and gardens look and feel like paradise. It is safe and very close to the beach. I can absolutely recommend Villa Verdes. Will definitely visit Sámara and this establishment again.
