I had a great stay at the resort. Here are some highlights: • Beautiful and peaceful place with amazing views around the resort. • Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Mr. Will. • Free airport shuttle (one-time). • They also helped me find local events and activities easily. The location is ideal for exploring the Zhangjiajie,as it’s close to both the park and the baofeng lake . English speaking staff Lily was really helpful in planning the best routes for visiting Zhangjiajie made our trip even more remarkable.. they also provided delicious breakfast. I don't know where to start, but I know how I ended up feeling: like if I was hosted by family member, just after three days. The owners are incredidibly kind and very welcoming - even though they don't speak English they're always ready to "speak" using translating app. They helped me with the natural park tickets, they told me where locals go eating, they've been full of attentions - way above the expectations. On top of it, the place is perfectly located to get to the park first and the room was full of charme and beautifullu decorated. Tujia culture at its best! Thank you!

The hotel has an amazing location, in the middle of the mountains, located closely to the Middle Gate of the national park. Rooms are wonderful and so is the pool, which gives you the ultimate holiday vibes. The staff is incredibly friendly and immediately welcome you like a friend. I liked the brilliant way the hotelier provides the guests with all the logistics information to see all the beauty in the park. As many as 13 steps on a map - bus connections and pass set up, cable tram connections, where to walk point A to point B. Timed to get you back to the home stay for a heathly evening meal. Arranged a car to take me to see to see the Zhangjiajie cave and then to the train stations. China never disappoints.

    Beautiful place to visit for adventurous trekkers and hikers. GEt close to nature and fresh mountain air. Views at special spots are fantastic. I stayed for a week as we need time to rest after the long hikes. Give allowance for thick mist in the highlands and rainy days where views are not clear and visibility is poor. Visit lowland areas (10 mile gallery and golden whip stream) when highlands are misty. Try to avoid the golden week though there are additional buses and staff to help out. During this period, entering through west gate is helpful as human traffic is lesser.

    Beautiful national park to explore and less touristy town full of interesting cuisine and local attractions , not too crowded but lively in the evenings, mountains and glass walk ways amazing , some beautiful under rated ancient Buddha Temples at the top of Tianmin mountain we enjoyed more than Beijing

    Stunning!

    Stunning! our 2nd favorite natural attraction in China, 2nd only to Huangshan Mountain. lots of great trails with exceptional views of a singular landscape. we stayed inside the park at YOLO hotel, which made access very easy. fortunately, transportation inside the park is shuttle bus only, they run frequently, and there's no congestion from private autos like you get at Yosemite. there's a big focus on "Avatar", but that is only one pillar of hundreds. Zhangjiajie is like Arizona's Grand Canyon except in a temperate rain forest, and on a more intimate scale, plus there are no incessant helicopters or mule feces.

    Amazing place.

    Amazing place. My focus was in the nature and zhangjiajie definitely delivered. Everything went super smoothly, but couple didi drivers tried to scam more money by adding extra fees in the app. Luckily didi customer service was good and got it fixed. Besides that small thing everything else was 10/10 for me, i strongly recommend visiting.

    We arrived Monday evening, explored all day Tuesday, then left Wednesday morning. I would have loved more time but felt like we saw a lot in the time we had. Tuesday morning we went to Zhangjiajie National Forest through the east gate. We went straight to the Bailong elevator, hiked around, then took the bus to Yangjiajie and hiked around a little more. We then took multiple bus rides and took the cable car back to the east gate. A driver picked us up and took us to Zhangjiajie city where we bought tickets for Tianmen Shan, B route (one thing to note is that route B and C have you climb the 999 stairs up, route A has you go down the 999 stairs). It was all so beautiful! Wednesday morning we went to the south gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest and did a quick but gorgeous and peaceful hike, hoping to see monkeys, which we did. I loved our trip but would have loved two or three days to explore the area more extensively.

    Zhangjiajie was on my bucket list and I have ticked it off now. I was not disappointed with my trip there. The views was amazing and once in a life time for me. There was alot of walking not for the faint hearted.

    The staffs are very helpful. It is a small boutique hotel. Service is really good. I need go to the village to get some fruits, Lucas from reception drive me there and back. Lucas also provided a very good instructions on where and how to visit Zhangjiajie national park with the limited time we had there. Thank you very much. The hotel staff will drive you to the west gate of the national park in the morning and pick you up after you have finished visiting park from the west gate. We really enjoyed our stay there, wish it was longer.

    Very cozy hotel, nice and clean, just a 5 minutes walking from the National park gate. The real plus for me was Ms Carol that helped me a lot from just after the booking and during all my days there. She was very careful and helped me to organize my visit of all Zhangjiajie attractions. I would recommend this place to everyone!

    Anthony was very helpful explaining us the places to go in the national park and helping us book the tickets for the heavens gate. The Zhangjiajie Forest park entrance is only 10 minutes walking from the hotel and he even accompanied us the first day hiking in the park.
