Just to stay in a Hilton Hotel for £40/night with a view over the river and breakfast was too good a deal to pass up. Meant a 30 min taxi ride out of town, but that was no biggie. Nothing much in the area other than a shopping mall (turn right out of hotel and walk for 15 mins) with loads of eating options as hotel didn't offer food other than breakfast.

Lovely location, a stones throw from the Yangtze, and walking distance to the city centre but in a quieter area. Our river view room was fantastic and had the added bonus of being able to see a beautiful tower, lit up at night. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast was great!!! The swimming pool and gym were much better than most we’ve experienced in other hotels.

Excellent view of the Yangtze river and the mountains from the room with big view windows, very spacious room, very comfortable. Very friendly staff, family business, who cooked for us, dinner and breakfast, to our order. By good weather, terrace with river view is very enjoyable for meals and relaxing. Highly recommended for longer stay holidays.

Lovely location, a stones throw from the Yangtze, and walking distance to the city centre but in a quieter area. The attention to detail in this hotel is so high, best housekeeping we have had, beautiful room, super quiet, in the internal rooms overlooking the courtyard, very well equipped, manager very helpful, excellent location for the metro. I would definitely recommend it.
