The location and the fact that I would have a parking space were the deciding factors in choosing this room. However, it was our host, Monika, who truly made us feel at home. The room itself, with a private bathroom, was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, offering every amenity one could need. A delightful breakfast was waiting for us outside our door at the morning. Monika is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares for her guests. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return!

We were at Deluxe Double Room with river view. Luxurious and beautiful room, big complete bathroom with separate additional toilet. A balcony with magnificent view of the River Aare. On clear days we can even see the snow capped mountains in the background. High compliments to Bellevue team - Chiara, Tamara for your excellent service and care to both of us. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Bern. The location is very convenient, the rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable (especially the beds) but the highlight was how friendly and helpful the staff were. A big thank you to the female worker who checked us in. I wish I got her name (she grew up in Bern, also worked in Grindelwald previously) she was so friendly, gave us heaps of recommendations, and we felt so welcomed by her. Would definitely stay here again!

Small private hotel with lovely ambience in reception and garden patio area. Warm welcoming staff. A bowl of fresh apples and coffe available was appreciated. Microwave available in breakout reception area Small single room very functional and well designed. Clean. Comfortable bed and linens. Very quiet and good mechanised exterior blinds achieved a dark room for sleeping. Location. Easy walk from train or into old town but free Bern travel card and buses and trams every minute allows easy access everywhere

I had an unexpected stay at Novotel Bern Expo Hotel due to a river flooding in Zermatt, which prevented me from returning to my original accommodation. Despite the stressful situation, my experience at Novotel Bern Expo Hotel was made significantly better thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. She went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. When I explained my situation, she immediately took action to ensure that I had everything I needed. She provided invaluable support throughout my stay. She helped me with the check-in process, ensuring it was as smooth as possible given the circumstances. She also offered practical assistance, such as finding a room that suited my needs and so on. She frequently checked in on us, offering comforting words and making sure we were okay. Her genuine care and concern helped to alleviate our worries and made us feel at ease. Her exceptional service, personal attention, and kind words turned a potentially difficult situation into a pleasant and memorable experience. I highly recommend Novotel Bern Expo Hotel, not only for its comfortable accommodations but also for the wonderful staff who go above and beyond to make every guest feel special.
