Horgen is a charming little village, lovely to walk around.
Horgen is a charming little village, lovely to walk around. It has a quaint centre and a beautiful waterfront. Easy travel into Zurich by train. Easy travel to mountains and skiing by train or car. Good supermarkets with good opening hours. We didn’t try the restaurants as we were visiting relatives but we did get a great takeaway - burritos. If you come by train go to the far end of the platform (away from the bus station) and up in the lift to the top. Walk up to the town as far as you can, then turn left and you won’t be far from the hotel.
