Small town lodging with huge benefits! Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, as well as the bonfire in the evening. Quiet location with welcoming hosts. Didn't try the restaurant, but did get a drink and sit by the bonfire.

The location on the lake is idyllic. The grounds were pristine and relaxing with ambient music playing. The hotel itself is in an old Victorian mansion and each room is decorated beautifully. My room was comfortable and the bed was amazing. I enjoyed my room as it had a balcony that overlooked the pools and the lake. They greeted me when I arrived with a glass of champagne. I do not speak French, and they were very helpful and patience while explaining my room and the spa to me. Breakfast was delicious and delivered at the time requested.

Charming is the word that springs to mind when you first see Auberge Au Soleil. Arriving early, we were welcomed by pleasant staff in the restaurant on the first floor who explained when our room would be ready and gave us some ideas for how to enjoy our time in the interim. It’s a very easy walk from the auberge to the public area at the lakefront, as well as to the Magazin (a nice little general store with great baked goods), and various historic spots. There is no shortage of scenic photo ops close by! On a clear night, be sure to visit the little nearby park where you can look up at the stars from benches intentionally built with reclined backs to make stargazing more comfortable.
