We went on a Monday, and many of the restaurants and pubs were closed, but there were a few options. We ate at the Japanese restaurant, they had alot of different option.The food was delicious and the service was great. The town is spotless. Cute little town. Lillooet is a unique fairly isolated community nestled along side the Fraser River. The scenery is remarkable with steep coastal mountains. Drive from Lillooet to Pemberton is beautiful but the road is very windy and has quite steep portions but worth the drive. The room was very clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed! Friendly greeting at check in. My room was on the 2nd floor, which was a walk-up, but a nice balcony and bench overlooking the town and view of the mountains. The price of the room was considerably less than what I had paid previously at the nearby Reynolds Hotel, and the room was actually nicer here. I could walk to the Reynolds Pub in 10 minutes. We requested a quiet room, with shower, and this is what we got in a room was at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly, we had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which was good value. They would not refund and wanted me to cancel it on my app. The hotel increased prices of the rooms. A small shop is included as well as a pub and a restaurant with awesome food. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. Authentic area where also locals are coming in.
