A historic village of a few hundred people, set next to a rocky harbour with little activity these days. The homes are remarkably well kept and landscaped, and the locals friendly. Strolling around town, and on the well built trail around the island, are a pleasure. Do not expect touristic activities (such as boat tours). There is just one tiny shop, so go fully equipped for meals and other needs during your stay. (There is one restaurant, which we did not try, and a "tea room" which was closed during our stay.)
