North America, Alberta, Canmore/Banff are blessed with great art artist and art galleries. Canmore has.4-5 good art galleries. Plus they have.4-5 wildlife photography Studios and art that rival anything in the world. Walking in Canmore is fascinating whether in the urban area or walking the linear pieces of water and forest that are integrated in the community. Banff is 20 minutes away. If you want to hike in the Rockies half an hour, we'll get you at a great country. The food scene is mature. Some great morning coffee places to start your day. We live in Calgary and go to Canmore at least twice a year for.2 or 3 nights to enjoy the ambience.Guest review byArtCanada - 10.0

Much less busy than Banff, so easier to get around and quieter in town. It is also less expensive and all the people we met were very friendly. The cabin, although old, was clean, comfortable and had plenty of cooking utensils. The location is great, 5 mins from Canmore and 20 from Banff. It makes you feel like you're camping with the luxury of a bed. It's also the cheapest place in the region.
