A great starting point to venture for different walks along the coast which I love to do. Regular buses are only 50c per ride by buscard or app on phone and gets you to many places between Noosa and Maroochydore from bus stop very close to hostel, including a change very close to Maroochydore airport. Sunshine Beach is a lovely beach, at the time we were there, with great surf conditions. It has clear waters, great for swimming and has surf lifesavers on duty. We ate at the local Surf lifesaving club which had live music on the Sunday with table settings looking out over the ocean. The area itself is walking distance to local restaurants and a food shops. It is alongside Noosa Heads, giving you the opportunity to do a 10-15km walk to Noosa Main Beach along some of the many walking trails with the highlight being the Coastal Track. A short drive gets you to the local restaurants and fish shop. We ate one night at local Lifesaver's Club, which has a pleasant aspect looking out to the ocean and a good choice of meals. Beach is a handy although it is a short walk down some stairs to get to it.Guest review byKerryAustralia - 10.0

Great surf club with fantastic food & it was right across the road from our accommodation. The local restaurants are amazing too. The surf was a bit wild due to the cyclone in northern Queensland. Very easy walking distance (1 minute) to the restaurants & shops. Taxis are very prompt & the river & Tewantin are very handy to Sunshine Beach via taxi (Approx $25)Guest review byDarylAustralia

The place is beautifully decorated, light, airy with the sounds of the ocean audible from the main bedroom, the perfect soundtrack to fall asleep to. Just a short walk from the beach and local cafes, the location is quiet and serene. The house has everything I needed including gorgeous towels, laundry supplies and a fully stocked kitchen.
