The Surf Yamba was exceptionally luxe!! From when you walk in the smell makes you take a breath in then an exhale into relaxation. Our room was beautiful, clean and well styled. We had a big balcony with greenery and table and chairs to chill out. The pool on the roof was so amazing with a view more stunning than I can describe in words. On the other side of the roof is an area with tea and coffee making facilities, games, lounges and the perfect spot to watch the sun rise. A short walk down to the kiosk on the beach was the perfect spot for breakfast. Overall there is not one thing I could fault, it was so beautiful and we loved our stay here.

Property was immaculate, communication friendly, clear and prompt. Comfortable bed, recliner lounge and an all round welcoming space. Well equipped kitchen with breakfast supplies and fresh fruit was a lovely gesture. Is a separate unit although part of main house, has own private entrance and off road parking. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Small coastal town, great walkways no traffic. The IGA has everything you need including gluten free food. The takeaway shops are minimal and deep fried. The pub has been renovated and has amazing sunset views.

The people are all very friendly. The weather is wonderful. Loved the ferry trip to Yamba and the River Cruise. Plenty of walking tracks for the more energetic. Great food at the Bowling Club and great cakes and pies etc at the Bakery.

If you’re after a quiet place to stay it’s great .

If you’re after a quiet place to stay it’s great . The options for takeaway and restaurant food and groceries are limited at best. The locals are friendly , bring some insect repel ant as sand flies can be ferocious near the water and everywhere at dawn and dusk. I enjoyed my stay. If you surf and fish you’ll love the place💯👍

As we were travelling with our little dog, we were welcomed. Two other places we had booked, charged us $50, and $60, to accommodate our dog, Here we were supplied with a little welcome box of goodies. And apart from this, the villa was very comfortable and had absolutely everything you could need. We will definitely recommend to our friends who also travel north in the winter, especially as it is pet friendly. Another little bonus, it was opposite the hotel, where we enjoyed a nice dinner.

It's my second stay at Iluka Motel and it's always a very friendly and comfortable place in this beautiful town. Kadie and Nathan are great hosts ,they are always very interested in making sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. I especially liked the BBQ area, which is amazing! It's fitted out with every cooking convenience you could imagine! There's multiple grills, BBQs, AirFryers, traditional ovens, and everything else you could need!

A comfortable, Pet friendly flat. A short walk to a riverside path, which you could follow to the shopping area and further, in one direction, or a longer walk to a beach in the other direction. There is a fisherman's co.op 200 metres away which sells delicious seafood both fresh and cooked. A new hotel with bistro overlooking the river is 100 metres away. The town is small, but friendly, and an IGA is in a reasonable walking distance.
