This stay was a pleasant surprise. Staff very friendly, check in easy. We stayed in a villa with two bedrooms & sat on the verandah looking at the lake till dark. Wildlife visited, & water very calming. Plan to stay there again if another road trip takes us that way. Excellent.

We had amazing time staying in this cozy tiny house! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The best part was the stargazing! At night, the sky was so clear, and the stars were amazing —it’s something we’ll never forget. The location was perfect for a quiet escape but still close enough to explore the area. The host was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. If you’re looking for a getaway that’s peaceful and unique, I definetely recommend this tiny house. We’ll definitely be back!

Super cool little place with huge surround windows to see the bush at night. Lovely scenery, with little pond and big hills, made you feel completely alone. It was also pretty impenetrable to bugs and felt super modern. The toilet was excellent, shame we didn't stay longer! The eggs were a treat!

Love the Bakery and the Cafe nearby where we had breakfast.

Love the Bakery and the Cafe nearby where we had breakfast. If we are travelling to Sydney we always make a stop at the Bakery. It is just off the Highway and fairly easy to find where you are going. Looks like it is also a favourite of people with motothomes and Caravans from the number that came and went while we were eating breakfast. Also their raspberry coconut slices are second to none. I would come back just for them. Angle parking is a good idea lets more cars park infront of ea ch establishment. Can't wait to come back next year. We will definitely stay there again

The (sole) Indonesian restaurant further up the main street...

The (sole) Indonesian restaurant further up the main street made our day. But the attitude of the manager at mount view motel was horrid. When I arrived, I could have sworn the motel was abandoned, except I knew I had prepaid booking.com $132 for the night (nett/after my genius level discount). When I tried to let him know following morning that there was only one teaspoon and no other cutlery, he blurted out "that's correct, it's been this way for twenty years!". I rather foolishly went on "and there's no face towel?" to which he curtly replied "if yu want face towel, stay at the hilton! (But) this is a cheap motel!". I said I was only giving some feedback, to which he again curtly blurted "don't need it!". So, this is one motelier who has obviously given up, if he ever was one. He's also long given up on the property too. What a pity.

We were travelling from Brisbane to Tuross Head and this was an excellent place for an overnight stay. It is a small town but it has a supermarket, petrol stations and restaurants/cafes. We ate at Oliver's and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a flat tyre and we were able to get it fixed quickly at the local mechanics/tyre repair business, Buladelah Tyre and Mechanical.

Bulahdelah was a great little overnight stop.

Bulahdelah was a great little overnight stop. It is a very small town but has friendly people, pretty location on the river and surrounded by mountains. Great coffee at Cafe on Main. Pizza good from Lady Jane hotel. We didn't get to have breakfast at either of the cafes but what we saw looked great.

Only stopped overnight so didn't really get to see Bulahdelah except for the walk to the pub from the motel that evening and a look around in the morning on our way out. It was a quaint town and would like to go back and explore.

Bulahdelah is a small but apparently thriving small town off the highway, close to several National Parks & the coast. There are a number of cafes, a pub/bottle shop & a supermarket. Finding a parking spot on the "main drag" was not a problem. I had lunch & breakfast at the Cafe next door to Mountain View Motel. Both were well priced, & a plentiful plateful.

The reception staff were lovely. No problem checking in. Beds were very comfy and extra blankets were available as the room cooled down overnight. The bathroom is a bit dated and the water from the shower flooded the floor. The water was lovely and hot. Tea and coffee facilities. The room was very clean. It was only a 10 minute walk into town to the hotel. Dinner was offered in the motel restaurant but we didn't partake. There was barely any road noise as we were on the old highway. I would certainly stay again

The bed was so comfortable, but other then that, you get what you pay for here. It's fine for a night stopover, but wouldn't stay longer than that. The hotel is old, but the room was clean. It had a struggling little box air con in the window that hummed me to sleep.

the motel was directly in our line of travel, clean, very affordable for pensioners, convenient to the hotel for dinner, breakfast included, just coffee/tea and toast and cereal, but exactly what we wanted. Friendly helpful staff.
