Very clean and comfortable. Hugh shower. Nice and helpful receptionist. It is not in the center of town but the train station is 5 minutes walk away, the ride to town center is 50 cent and takes 10 minutes so you don't have to get there with your car and pay for parking. Free parking on site and lots of dining options around

FAQs about hotels in Brisbane

Sun-drenched & Leafy

At the meeting point of Australia’s Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, laid-back Brisbane is spread around the meandering river running through it. The river’s artsy South Bank is home to Australia’s largest modern art gallery, tranquil gardens and an artificial beach. Just across the river is the towering skyline of Brisbane's central business district, the location of many hotels in central Brisbane.

Nearby are the botanic gardens and Queen Street Mall, the most popular Brisbane shopping spot. There are more shopping centers all over the city, and the out-of-town malls include one in the Indooroopilly suburb by the foothills of Mount Coot-tha.

This green hill offers fabulous city views and has a planetarium, nature reserve and yet more botanic gardens. In Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to the south, you can hug one of the lovable animals, while Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin’s legacy – is a good day trip.

Brisbane is a very leafy city and one of its parks, Wickham Park, contains the Old Windmill, Brisbane’s oldest building. To the northeast, the Fortitude Valley suburb is known for its vibrant music scene and Chinatown. Across the river in Woolloongabba is The Gabba or Brisbane Cricket Ground, and nearby is the bohemian West End district.

Booking.com has plenty of downtown hotels, and other accommodations near Brisbane Airport in a northeastern coastal suburb.

What Guests Said About Brisbane:

Public transport was excellent and very cheap.

Public transport was excellent and very cheap. The river City Cat ferry was a good experience. Food was ok. Feels overcrowded in the city. There isn't that much to do, but you can get to other places close by, like Moreton Bay Island. Shopping is awful and expensive. Museums and Streets Beach great for the kids. Even buying food to prepare in our airbnb was very expensive. Streets Beach was great and free as were a lot of the museums. You can get places easily and quickly with public transport in the city, but Toowong Village is nothing, Queen Street Mall is ok, there is little culture/history in the city. Issues with homeless tents in parks.

    Tons to see and do.

Tons to see and do. If you are international travellers you will need to be careful of the high temperatures during Spring/Summer. Travelling on the river and long walks are a fun past-time and if you need to lose a few kilos then this is the place to do it. Shopping is great and don't forget to visit Victoria's Basement if you need kitchen or kitchen/baking products.

Brisbane CBD easy to walk around. Everything quite close.

Brisbane CBD easy to walk around. Everything quite close. Is hilly-ish in areas. Public transport cheap & easy to figure out. Train right outside the airport & easily gets you into the CBD. Food prices seemed fairly standard for a city. Lots of markets on different days around the city. Fantastic weather; warm but not too muggy. Got cool breezes depending on where we were. No long sleeves were needed even at night. Le Bon Choix french cafe at 104 Edward Street had fantastic almond croissants, yum! Felons Brewery had everything going on; drinks, food, music, views, location & even yoga. All the museums & galleries were close by & had interesting exhibits.

Brisbane is an ordinary Queensland city.

Brisbane is an ordinary Queensland city. It is basically boring with few cultural, scenic or other highlights. We did find an excellent Vietnamese restaurant in Hamilton. South Bank has much to offer families. The ferry service on the river is a very good and inexpensive public transport system, but slow.

    Brisbane!...love it!

Brisbane!...love it! Lots of walking trails (majority with shade). Seems like October/November is the time for shows at The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC)...if you are visiting soon...check out The 39 Steps at The Playhouse. You have a choice of Lyric, Cremorne, The Playhouse theatres, Concert Hall. Don't forget the Art Gallery which is just across the road from QPAC. .. Amazing view from the 23rd level Sky Deck at Star Casino. Fabulous restaurants and bars. For an old worldly atmosphere go visit Brisbane Arcade...have a bite to eat at Room with Roses. Catch the City Cat Ferry for only 50cts and enjoy a lazy cruise up and down the Brisbane river...hop on and off for fabulous shopping and eateries all along the river! Drop into fab boutique "They call me Kitten D'amour"...sassy dresses!

Fantastic city: comfortable, vibrant, wealthy, with lots of green spaces, benches and parks. Extremely clean, with amazing "South Bank", riverside facilities, and dirt-cheap transport. Incredible investment levels into facilities that serve the public. An example to poor, dirty, run-down London of how to credibly serve its residents. Were I 30 years younger, I would pack my things., leave London without one look back and move to Brisbane in a flash, if it took me.

Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane is conveniently located in the city. A short walk to both Queen Street and Southbank make it a great choice for first time visitors to the city. PLENTY of food options around the hotel, you certainly will not go hungry. Big plus for us is the bed we had was rather firm, aided in a great night's sleep.

We have stayed at Opera Apartments on many occasions when visiting Brisbane and it is a very convenient location close to all facilities anyone would need, including a short walk to the South Brisbane railway station and ferry at Southbank. We will certainly stay there when next visiting Brisbane.
