We really enjoyed our one-night stay at this great hotel, so much so that when we were in Schladming again two nights later we booked again. The rooms, while a bit small, are clean and comfortable and have everything you need for a short stay. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Barbara. When we left our sunglasses behind in the room she called and emailed us to let us know so we could retrieve them. We can't recommend this hotel enough!

The staff were very friendly and engaging. We had a wonderful dinner at the attached restaurant. They patiently allowed us to sit and play games as a family. We had time to kill as we were waiting to take our daughter to a local activity. We were grateful to sit in a beautiful setting.

The staff was kind and welcoming, and the room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared with handwritten notes to greet our family. Every detail felt personal, even at breakfast, where our family name was written on the table. We travelled with our dog and at the room there were also pet supplies waiting for us. We truly felt taken care of and appreciated the warm atmosphere throughout our stay.

This is a typical Austrian Alpine hotel. If you take into account the location and the family who runs it, I would say it truly offers everything you need — including a good dose of charm. Please keep in mind: this is not a modern city hotel, so don’t expect ultra-modern rooms, a minibar, or similar extras. Instead, it’s an Alpine hotel where you should value the position, the traditional style, the atmosphere, and above all the genuine warmth of the family (several generations together) who take care of the guests. Everything we had was fresh and tasted really good. Breakfast offered a nice variety (just don’t expect a 5-star buffet) and everything was fresh every morning. For those who appreciate the location, nature, and the sound of cows in the early morning, watching the mountains and clouds drift by, this place is simply a perfect choice. And finally, the personal greetings and hospitality round everything off beautifully. And bonus point - you are just across Dachstein cable car :)

The room has a beautiful mountain view and is close to a cable car and a ski slope. and It's a few kilometers away from Dachstein Mountain, which has a suspension bridge and a platform with a beautiful view. The room's furniture is new and very clean, with comfortable beds. There's a small kitchen and a new bathroom that's cleaned daily. Everything is perfect. We were surprised by the warm welcome from the family, who went out of their way to help us with a kind spirit. We didn't feel like strangers, and their hospitality brought us joy and comfort.
