Lady managing the place was happy and friendly. Lots of towels and you could check in on your phone over a beer . You even got a lolly when you left in the morning. Central as well.

For me one of the most important things about an albergue is the host. On this occasion the host was facing a difficult personal situation beyond his control and yet this had no negative impact on the level of service or hospitality. I was so impressed with how welcome I was made at the end of a particularly long day. I was even asked if I was hungry and offered a meal at 5.30pm which I gratefully accepted! Located on the Camino route. A great place for a break from community rooms. The staff was excellent and helpful. The dinner was really good. It was the most that I have eaten since I started in SJDP.
