Nice and quiet getaway, falling asleep with only the sound of the river. So much attention for details by the sweetest couple who run the place. Amazing view. Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

To enjoy the facility and the surroundings , you would be advised to be driving since getting taxis or ubers is not an option. Other than that, it is an amazing facility with very lovely hosts.

Host CJ is friendly and gladly shares his vast knowledge of his property's fascinating history. The view of Sounds in Silence is gorgeous and the aura peaceful. The bedroom we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is spacious and spotless. My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.

This was an amazing place that overlooks the Midlands meander, making it perfect for an RnR experience and river below was an added bonus because I got to take a dip in a little private setting .Judy was an excellent host to us .The friendly dogs also played their part for hosting us .Definitely will be returning !!!
