Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Nous avions un chalet/appartement très bien équipé, confortable, avec une belle terrasse dans un complexe magnifique avec de superbes jardins. L’endroit est très tranquille. Place de parking directement devant l’appartement. Idéalement situé, à 20 minutes du parking pour les départs du Tongariro Alpine Crossing ! Propriétaires très sympathiques.

Hosts were lovely and hot pools were amazing (outdoor and in room). Right down the road from the lake where you can see the ducks and relax. 15 min walk to town.

L’établissement The Grove Turangi se situe à Turangi, à respectivement 49 km et 48 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Mont Ruapehu et Great Lake Convention Centre. My husband and I stayed at The Grove Turangi for 4 nights. It was amazing. Property has everything you need to feel like home. Super comfy beds, more than enough of space to store your clothing in both bedrooms. Shower with great pressure. Kitchen’s got everything you need to cook a meal. Living space with two sofas and a smartTV to watch a show and relax. Aircon is there as well to make sure the temperature inside as per your liking. Outdoor area is beautiful and well maintained to enjoy birds singing and surrounding. My husband used the sauna and said it was fantastic. The fact that we were just two and place has two bedrooms was amazing because we did sleep separately one night after completing alpine crossing so we can both relax and just sleep in (haha). Location was perfect for us being so close to Tongariro park to enjoy hikes and walks. Only about 30-40 mins of driving to the tracks. And close to Taupo as well. Thank you for this wonderful stay and I highly recommend this place to anyone who is travelling to the area.

It felt like home away from home 🏡.. well presented house with everything you need to have a comfortable stay, especially when you are travelling with elderly family members and kids. I loved the kitchen as it was so well equipped, starting from cutlery to pots and pans and pantry filled with spices.. Beds were so comfortable, and the linen smelled so fresh .. We used the laundry facility and loved the fact that we could dry the clothes out in the line.. We even enjoyed BBQ as there was a facility for that as well.. Possédant une terrasse et un service d'étage, l’hébergement Hare's Rest bénéficie d’un emplacement stratégique à Taupo, à respectivement 31 km et 31 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Grotte et parc thermal... We liked everything about Hares Rest. The location is perfect and the Lodge is very comfortable and clean with a fabulous vista surrounded by beautiful gardens. Alli and Glyn, the hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful and they provided us with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The breakfast hamper Alli provided was very special and included her fresh homemade bread and granola, locally sourced fresh produce and her homemade treats, were delicious. The tranquil and relaxing environment of the lodge was fabulous and is near to Lake Taupo and a number of attractions in the surrounding area.I would not hesitate in recommending Hares Rest.

I like spacious living room area, big backyard, beautiful view scenery from the balcony. Overall an amazing house.
