There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Hakuba Third Place Lodge is one of my favourite places I’ve stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Everything was spotless, and the private bath was beautifully designed and so relaxing after a day on the slopes. Akira and his team were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient, always making sure we had everything we needed. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location is ideal—just minutes from the ski slopes and close to lovely bars and restaurants. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Akira and the team.

At the chalet complex, some units have a private entrance, dining area, fireplace and dishwasher. Some accommodation includes a terrace and a seating area with flat-screen TV, as well as air conditioning and heating. At the chalet complex, certain units are equipped with a coffee machine and wine or champagne. Enjoyed the house for summer for a big group and had a wonderful time! Staff was always quick/available to answer your questions or come by should you needed something. Sauna/onsen was definitely a highlight, along with the ready-to-go BBQ set (extra cost). Would love to come again!

Situated in Myoko, 31 km from Zenkoji Temple and 33 km from Nagano Station, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation has a spa bath. I had a wonderful time thanks to the hospitality and amazing support from the hotel owner. He helped me with transfer from the station to the hotel and was incredibly welcoming. The breakfast was very good. I really enjoyed my time.

My husband and I didn't expect to be spoilt rotten by his spectacular host abilities - from transporting us to and from the bus terminal, to cooking our daily breakfast, to pointing out the best slopes, sorting out ski/snowboard rentals and issues, even lending us bus money when we didn't have enough on the last day (which we paid back promptly). The room cleaning service was also very prompt. He even gave us onsen tickets on the last day??? There are no words to describe how grateful we are, no idea what we've done to deserve this. Rooms were super clean, neat, heated, and showering facilities were amazing. There was a dry room where our rented equipment were dropped off and picked up. The bus stop to Happo One (Nakiyama) slopes were just out the front door. This has been the best accommodation experience in our lives and we definitely will be back. It truly felt like a cosy home away from home. Thank you Mr Chan from the bottom of our hearts!

Villa Orange Cabin is set in the Fujikawaguchiko Onsen-kyo district of Fujikawaguchiko, 5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, 7.4 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 28 km from Mount Fuji. This 1-star villa offers free shuttle service and luggage storage space. The villa offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff offered a free of charge shuttle back to Kawaguchiko station once our stay was over. The rental bikes and BBQ were very nice and convenient. The service from the staff was excellent.

Continental and Asian breakfast options are available at the lodge. At Sakka Sanso you will find a restaurant serving Japanese and European cuisine. A vegan option can also be requested. I would absolutely stay here again. Nothing fancy but everything was comfortable and clean. We had dinner in the lodge and it was very handy as finding restaurant availability in Hakuba can be a challenge during ski season. Most importantly the lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful. 2 out of our 4 snowboard bags went missing by our luggage delivery service. She made phone calls and got it all sorted. She was very gracious and worked through the language barrier. Above and beyond service!

At Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets, free shuttle services are provided to and from local supermarkets and Hakuba Station during the winter season. Ski storage is available at the reception house. The house was exceptional. We are so glad that we chose the place to stay. It's during the snow season so there are complimentary pickup from the stay to the bus station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The house is equipped with full kitchen equipment and utensils. We cooked and enjoyed our time very much.

There is a shared lounge at this property and guests can go skiing and cycling nearby. I loved everything here. Usually lodge has only Japanese futon in tatami room but we slept comfortably in bed. Breakfast was tasty and hospitality was incredible. They also have sauna 😍
