Situé à Zhangjiajie et offrant une vue sur la montagne, l’établissement Forest Glass inn possède un salon commun, une terrasse et un restaurant. L'hôtel est super. Situé légèrement en montagne à proximité de l'entré Sud du parc de Zhangjiajie, le lieu est calme et tranquille. Lorsque le ciel est dégagé on peut apercevoir les célèbres montagnes de Zhangjiajie directement depuis l'hôtel. La propriétaire Xiaomei prodigue de bons conseils et peut aider à planifier les itinéraires de visites ainsi que acheter les billets d'entrée des différents parcs. Les petits-déjeuners sont bons et copieux. Les lits sont confortables. Même lorsqu'il fait froid dehors les chambres sont bien chauffées. Comme j'y ai séjourné durant la basse saison (novembre), j'ai pu tester plusieurs chambres dont je vous partage les photos.

We spent a night in 张家界东篱山居民宿. I chose the place partly because it was close to the Zhangjiajie airport but mainly because of its view. We arrived late (almost midnight), the host picked us up from the airport (for free), we didn’t see much outside the house in the darkness, but were taken by the artistic decoration of the rooms. Next day, we were lucky to wake to a clear morning and greeted by a stunning view of the Tianmen Mountains (天门山) and Seven Stars Mountains （七星山）. The Tianme Cave (天门洞) is clearly visible from the house. The view is even better than I expected from the Booking.com’s reviews. Besides its hilltop location with excellent views all around and including a golf course right next door, the house also has a manicured garden including a lotus pond, clearly the owner has put in a lot of effort landscaping and maintaining the property. I only wished that we had more time to stay here and just enjoy its view and surroundings.
