Host family are very kindness and helping us. Thank you for hosting us very well. We stayed Bissa villa only 2 night. But we think It was our mistake. 2night was'nt enough to enjoy all of this attractive place. Host Samitha provided safari for Birding and Seeing elephant that accurately we need. And provided good dinner at restaurant and fruit in our stay. A room was keeping Clean , Wi-fi was enough. Especially I enjoyed great garden with big trees that is coming Small and Big squirrels and a lot of Birds. We think If it's we could, we wanted to stay more.

Amazing place with great and extremely helpful staff that helped us with organising transport to Sigiriya and safari in Mineriya; great breakfast; such a friendly relaxing vibe of the whole place; cold pool (highly appreciated); nice surrounding area in nature, yet close to the city. Perfect location close to so many sights. Would 100 % recommend!

Location: The villa is in a quiet place, off the main road so you only hear voices of the forest, rarely any cars or motors. The rooms: there are 4 rooms, 2 with fan and 2 with a/c. They are simple but spacious, the bathroom is simple but there's hot running water and it's clean. The beds are comfy and big. Breakfast: JUST GREAT. Big Srilankan breakfast, everyday a little different, prepared and served with care and attention. I just wish there was more fresh fruit for breakfast :) Proximity to attractions: walking distance to the entrance to Lion's Rock (10-15 min) and 15 min to the city. For other attractions we recommend to take the bikes and explore the surrounding, such as Pidurangala Rock for sunset (but go earlier and explore the whole area. There are ancient Buddhist gompas all around worth visiting and seeing before climbing up the rock), the big Buddha statue from where you can get directly to the entrance to Lion's Rock and the moat. Hospitality: I cannot appreciate this enough. Both Fernando and Niroshan are great, kind and extremely helpful. Loved the place, we can only recommend it.

We stayed 2 nights at the Sigiri art home. It is a lovely place hidden in the jungle. From the comfortable furniture at the patio, you can enjoy the sights of the beautiful garden. When we arrived we were welcomed very kindly. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The AC functioned perfectly. In the morning we got a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The host and his wife are kindhearted and want to make sure your stay is up to your wishes. When we ran out of gas with our rented tuk tuk, the host even brought us to a gas station to get a bottle of fuel. He was truly a lifesaver.

We had a wonderful stay here! From the moment we arrived, we felt as if we were visiting family. The guest unit in the hosts’ yard is modern, spotlessly clean, with hot water and everything you need to feel comfortable. In the evening, we were warmly welcomed into the host’s home, where we learned how to prepare some local dishes and enjoyed a lovely homemade dinner in their cozy living room. Our kids played joyfully with the hosts’ children, discovering all the great games in the house, and they didn’t want to part until late at night. Although we stayed only one night, we truly wished we could have stayed longer. Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience

A Wonderful Stay at Jungle Edge Home Sigiriya Located just outside of Sigiriya, Jungle Edge Home offers stunning views of Pidurangala and Lion Rock. The views from the balcony, overlooking the surrounding area, were truly breathtaking and made for a peaceful spot to relax. The resort provided a traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry, and it was very delicious, adding a special local touch to our experience. There were also small discussions about Sri Lankan culture, which enriched our stay and provided a deeper understanding of the region's traditions. The environment outside the resort building was peaceful and serene, offering a perfect backdrop to unwind. The resort also facilitated a friendly safari to visit Minneriya National Park. We were able to see a number of elephants, and the experience was absolutely beautiful. The park's natural beauty and wildlife made for an unforgettable adventure. All in all, the resort’s staff were incredibly helpful, and no request was too much trouble. A truly lovely place to stay!

We loved absolutely everything! The hosts were super helpful and thoughtful, they left nothing to be desired as we were truly cared for. Breakfast and Dinner were auper delicious, being surrounded by lush nature was super relaxing. The Villa was clean, big and comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here!
