The house is too good for two of us. It's nice and clean and located in the best area， the view from the balcony is so great! The owner Alex and his family are so nice and we are so happy to have them as friends. We are very looking forward to stay in Chalet Aaegovia again.

Towels and linen were provided at no extra cost. Lockers inside the room with a key-card lock. The large kitchen and dining facilities to cook and eat. Larger lockers to store larger items were available downstairs, and also available to those who had to check-out early but staying in the area could use the provided lockers. Staff were also very friendly :)

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful chalet apartment! The space was cozy, spotless, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. We loved the hotel, it exceeded our expectations multiple times. The interior in the shared spaces and in the room is very modern and well-balanced although you are in a traditional chalet. From the room, we had direct access to the balcony with a mountain view and a view over Grindelwald. The beds are super comfy, which is perfect after a long hike. A huge recommendation!

Exceptional view on a mountain, simple furnishing, very clean, every room in the lodge tells a story of a famous mountaineer. The red hair girl was super - she recommended us an alternative trip, because our planned route was not possible, she gave many good advises.

The lodge exceeded our expectations. Especially the apartment which was on the other side of the dorm rooms. Overlooking the ever flowing river stream and the Eiger Mountain peak, it was a dream to have stayed there. The proximity to the Grund station from which the train goes to Jungfrau was amazing. Plus the free bus service to the center of the town with the card from the reception. I would definitely recommend the place any time.
