Campgrounds in Udawalawe

It was an incredible experience! Isuru was so kind with us, he took care of us since the first moment, the communication was great! If you want to get a very local and authentic experience, this is your place. Isuru knows a lot about nature and his country and we talked about so many things, we learned so much from Sri Lanka and its culture. The food was amazing, everything was delicious, I would say that is the best food we’ve tasted in Sri Lanka (rice and curry🤤). The location was perfect, so quite, not so far from the national park, also Isuru has a Tuktuk. You would be surrounded by nature in every moment, see the fireflies during the night.. ✨also you could have a walk next to the river and see a lot of birds ! The bed was so comfortable and the airco was perfect! Everything was so clean. The safari that we booked with him was amazing, i totally recommend it. It was one of the best experiences that I lived in my life🐘

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. In particular, our guide Solomons made the safaris and nature walk so much fun and he was so knowledgeable. We appreciated the upgraded tent!

This ecolodge was enjoyable for my children, husband and myself. The tents were roomy and had flushing toilets and warm showers. The dinners were elegant on white tablecloth under the stars. The safari guide and driver did an excellent job pointing out elephant herds, birds and crocodiles at this park. I recommend this lodge.
