Perfect. Simply perfect! It’s clean, close to the sea, the owner is extremely helpful, honest and reliable, WiFi works as good as WiFi can work in Egypt. Very good communal showers, drying racks for each room, quiet working a/c, breakfast at the sea for a reduced price at a nearby restaurant is good, everyone speaks English. Absolutely hassle free place! We enjoyed our stay a lot. Thank you, Michael! People like you really make a difference.

We had an amazing time at this quiet family camp. We were welcomed in a home, there was great food, good music and lovely vibes. A very serene place with mindful, peaceful and generous people. This place is really special.

My friend and I had an unforgettable stay here, and it’s hard to overstate just how fantastic this place is. Let’s start with the unbeatable location: it’s just 20 meters from the sea! Yes, 20 meters. We could step out of our room and be on the shore within seconds, soaking up the stunning Red Sea views. Plus, being right in the center of Dahab means you’re surrounded by vibrant cafes, shops, and local life, making it the perfect base to explore the town. The rooms themselves are an incredible bargain. For less than the price of a hostel bunk, you get your own private room and bathroom. Clean, comfortable, and cozy—what more could you ask for? There’s also a lovely communal area where we loved hanging out, meeting fellow travelers, or just chilling with a book. The hammock was a personal favorite, and the friendly dogs on-site added a charming touch to the laid-back vibe. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The traditional Egyptian breakfast was a delightful start to the day—full of local flavors that we truly enjoyed. That said, it might not be for everyone if you’re used to something more continental, but for us, it was part of the authentic experience. Alaska Camp Hotel strikes the perfect balance between affordability, comfort, and charm. If you're visiting Dahab and want to be close to the sea, immersed in the town’s vibrant energy, and surrounded by friendly vibes without breaking the bank, this is the place to be. The absolute best food in Sinai! Vegan, fresh, a lot of vegetables. Wonderful people, graceful hosts, and beautiful beautiful Reef!
