The property is remote enough to feel peaceful and in the middle of nowhere but once you have driven down the entrance road, it is actually close to the national park. We had a Sloth Bear tent and it was beautiful and stylish. I particularly loved the private pool and deck - it was so peaceful and relaxing as we couldn’t see or hear anyone else from our own tent area. The staff at Tribe Yala were the absolute best - so humble, kind and professional. They truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. My only regret is that I didn’t book our safaris through Tribe Yala - their vehicle and manager/driver looked so much more comfortable and professional than the one we booked externally. Tribe Yala is a unique experience - I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this beautiful luxury tent resort.

Where to start.. this stay really went straight to our hearts <3 From the second we arrived Madu and his crew took great care of my husband and I. We had half board but opted for lunch on the property as well. The lunch serving and evening BBQ was some of the best meals we had on the entire trip. We also did two safaris arranged by the property and this worked really well. Madu the "all around guy" was also our safari guide and all though he was new at the job at Yala Wild Hut, he was very vigilant and professional. He never left our side whenever outside the tents, I guess for service and safety and we never felt unsafe at any time. This whole experience of staying in the wild and getting to know these people and their story really touched us deeply. We are so grateful for this authentic experience!

All the cabanas with a seating area, offer lake views and free Wi-Fi. Free private parking is available at the property. Each Cabanas has a flat-screen TV, mini bar, electric kettle and desk. Private bathroom comes with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Loved the surrounding and peaceful environment with birds ,exceptional cabanas ..magical place Special mention to Sampath the care taker was extremely nice and did a wonderful evening setting for us for drinks and dinner on his own accord

Ranminitenna Tele Cinema Village is 19 km from the luxury tent, while Kataragama Temple is 29 km from the property. Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 40 km away. When I booked there weren't a lot of reviews but all of the reviews were fantastic so I assumed that it was just newer and didn't have a lot of reviews. This was one of the only times that I felt let down by booking.com reviews. The staff at the place was very warm but there were more negatives about the property than positives.

The property can arrange for Safari on a private jeep. Everything was excellent, we were staying in the tree house and it was beautiful, highly recommended! We also booked the Yala Safari with them and it was really nice, we saw lots of animals and the guide was really kind and friendly. Overall, it was a fab experience :)
