Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

Small (3 tents, one of which is a large family tent), intimate, charming camp, unfenced, ideally located, in the north conservancy, just 5 minutes from the Maasai Mara’s Musiara gate entrance, 15 minutes from the air strip. Completely local ownership and management, which we highly value and one of the reasons we chose this, together with the location and the small size. We had tent 3, high on stilts, large, private, wooden floors, huge netted windows, outside deck all around, unobstructed views on the savannah. Big comfortable bed with good mattress, en-suite bathroom with toilet and huge shower, running water. Electricity and hot water are solar - electricity is around the clock, so maybe the camp tops it up at night with a generator, but we never heard one. Large, charming traditional mess tent, with bar area, and extra lounge, wonderful outdoor deck with fire pit, small plunge pool with deck chairs. Food was excellent, they will apparently cater to dietary needs but have a fixed menu. Most meals in the mess tent, some scenically set in the bush. All drinks were included as was daily laundry. Highly knowledgeable and dedicated guides (William the owner, and Alex), game drives were mostly inside the park and arranged as and when we wished, with picnic breakfast and/or lunch, or not, as we wished. Park fees were included which made the offer we got superb value for money. We had been on safari several times almost 4 decades ago when luxury safaris were mobile or semi-permanent tented camps, small, unfenced, only with simple drop toilets and hot bucket showers, communication only via radio, bush cooking, communal mess tent and fire pit… but with an abundance of local staff delivering perfect, exclusive service. That’s the feeling we were looking for again and this is the closest we found on our trip to Kenya: very similar traditional, exclusive safari feeling , experience and charm, with great service, modern comforts, but no excesses and low imprint.

From the tents to the views from the tents where we would sleep, the food, and most importantly the staff, everything and everyone were just perfect!

L'Entumoto Safari Camp est perché dans les collines escarpées et isolées de Megwarra. The best part of Entumoto Camp is without a doubt the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Our guide, Isaac, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the most unforgettable experience we’ve ever had. Their knowledge, patience, and passion for the wildlife and local culture made every game drive truly special. Traveling with two young children (ages 5 and 7), we were amazed by how attentive and kind everyone was with them. The staff made sure our kids were comfortable, safe, and happy at all times — treating them as part of the Entumoto family. The camp itself is beautiful, with stunning views of the Masa Mara reservation, comfortable tents, and delicious meals served in a warm, family-like atmosphere. We left Entumoto Camp with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a strong desire to return someday. Thank you to the entire team for giving us such a remarkable experience.

Outstanding, exceptional safari experience, that beats all possible expectations and make you feel privileged with private and tailored service from the first arrival moment till leaving this paradise. Highly welcoming, hospital and professional personnel that made it reality. If any doubts and tons of research you made - don’t waste your time. It is simply worth it, every penny. Highly recommended

Situé à Sekenani, l’établissement Tayari Luxury Tented Camp - Mara propose une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, un jardin, un salon commun et une terrasse. Un endroit incroyable! Nous avons passé 3 nuits à Tayari. Les tentes sont très confortables même par temps de pluie. Le personnel est très attentionné (bouteille d'eau tous les jours, bouillotte pour réchauffer le lit, commande du repas en avance, etc). Le lieu est bien sécurisé (grillage électrique et personnel présent pour vous escorter au sein du camp).

Staying at Fig Tree Camp inside the Masai Mara was nothing short of magical. The property is set right on the river, offering an unbeatable view — we spent hours simply watching hippos play and bathe just a few feet away. It’s an experience in itself! The camp is beautifully spread out, giving you the true feeling of being in the wild while staying completely secure. The staff was extremely courteous and always ready to help, no matter the time of day. From arranging custom requests to ensuring our comfort, they made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the hospitality, top-notch. Whether you're here for wildlife or just want to unwind in nature, Fig Tree is the perfect place. Highly recommend for those looking to experience the heart of the Masai Mara with comfort and style!
