What a wonderful property in a dreamy location! Tolhof is perfectly positioned to view mountains and rolling hills dotted with rural chalets - sit on your balcony for sunset and marvel at the changing colours of the Dolomites whilst listening to the soothing subtle clink of bells whilst sheep graze. You may hear a cow moo now and then and the clocktower chime softly in the pretty village at the bottom of the road - a 1 min drive away for groceries cafes, restaurants, pastries and great coffee!

Fantastic location with million dollar view. Large room with verandah, beds were comfortable. Large bathroom, with much appreciated bathtub and hairdryer. Surprisingly OK WI-FI. Restaurant downstairs for lunch and dinner. Good self serve breakfast, lots of savoury options German style. Free parking next to the chalet.

The location is unique with a beautiful view and multiple terraces around the house to have a seat. You have the whole place for yourself and the house has everything you need. You can walk through the forest, uphill to the cable car or downhill to the river, starting directly at front door. It is a perfect place to come to a rest and enjoin nature, with for example little deer passing by at sunset.

Breakfast was good, in fact of the best in our trip. Rooms are facing the town and it is quite a view. We loved sitting at the balcony and watching the sunsets over the town.

Very clean and cozy room, with hot shower and toilet. Staff is very friendly. Very good breakfast. Nice location, tranquil - perfect to take a rest after long trip and many hikes.

This is in a quiet location with easy bus access to Bolzano. The welcome was warm and helpful. The pool is super and set in beautiful gardens. The room was large with a veranda. Breakfast was first class.

We had a wonderful room with a lovely Alpine feel, a spacious balcony from where we could enjoy the sunset, a small sauna (enough for one person to sit in) and a large jacuzzi bath. We ate dinner once during our short stay - a 6 course meal in a casual setting (owed to the fellow guests) - which was tasty and well presented. The hotel is well located for hiking and biking and the massage was a treat for the tired muscles.

We so enjoyed our stay! Everything was very modern and high spec. The swimming pool was warm and we used it every evening. The views from the balcony were incredible. Best of all were the evening meals, which were five courses of health tyrolean food with desert creations. We usually eat out at restaurants in town but Hotel Salgart were so much better. And the staff were wonderful!

Booked late as a single. Room was fine with great cleanliness standard and comfortable. Boot Room and storage facilities were fine and you walked out onto a veranda. You could walk to the piste and then ski to the drag lift to take you to the main Suisi lift or walk down to the bus station, 5 minutes, in the Piazza Antonio for the frequent bus to Selva or walk on through to the Seceda lift. Shower was great and the Breakfast good and plentiful, Entry was via a electronic card to the Hotel and room. Room was quiet.
