It was 10 times the value of a hotel or the like in the area. It was -15 outside and we were toasty in the yurt. The beds were the best I slept on in the country. The breakfast was good and checked all the boxes. I selfishly wanted more omelets/waffle hot bar options, but the breakfast was beyond good, and this was one of very few places that actually included breakfast with the hotel, so I will give their breakfast a 10/10 as well. Location was perfect too for both Aurora Viewing (we saw a massive aurora on 11/22/24) and we were right next to Geysir and waterfalls. We could see the glacier from the front porch. Very private yurts too! My pictures are of the aurora we saw from the front door of the Yurt. You can easily see them from these. I also included an indoor picture and one of the grounds.

It looks amazing and they're giving a lot of attention to details. Even there was a shared bath room, it looked amazing. Vintage bath tube with shower. Just perfect. Bed was very comfortable and it was very warm. I was not freezing one single second. Really loved the stay and it would have been nice to be there longer.

Our family tent was as nice as on the pictures, and both warm, airy and comfortable. The shared relax area at the 'barn' is very cosy, and the host is really nice and friendly! All is also perfectly clean and delicate.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique dome house. The place is quiet, peaceful, and beautifully surrounded by nature, with adorable horses nearby that made the atmosphere even more special. The host was very welcoming, and everything was clean and well-prepared for our arrival. The dome itself was cozy and relaxing, and at night we could enjoy the sky and even a few stars through the clear panels (no aurora during this season, but it must be magical when it appears!). Inside, the accommodation was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: a microwave, Nespresso machine, small refrigerator, sink, plates, cutlery, and more. It was the perfect combination of comfort and nature, and we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Iceland.

There is also a seating area and a fireplace. We loved everything about this place! We were so impressed with the big space for 5 the entire family and how warm it was.

It was big enough for 2 people and the bed was very comfy! There was 3 heaters, which we only needed one on and we were there during winter. We did see the northern lights too! There was a lot of rain and wind later in the night and the dome was excellent, no issues whatsoever. Yes, you do have to walk 200m to use the bathroom and kitchenette, but the facilities were amazing! So much better than expected- once again they look exactly like the photos!

Reykjavík Domestic Airport is 70 km from the property. To put it shortly, a mandatory experience in Iceland. The ability to wake up in the middle of the woods and reconnect with nature, whilst having total privacy was wonderful. Facilities, although shared, were clean and well maintained, and the room was perfectly heated. On and all, a very fun and distinct (whilst still very confortable) experience
