The perfect place to rest for a couple of nights. We could have sat on the terrace all day. Very unique colonial with a refreshing pool but what made this stay was the staff. All went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Visit Gampola to experience rural Sri Lanka. We happened upon a village school nearby the hotel on a short stroll that was an amazing experience.

The stay was amazingly great ! The staff was friendly,caring and professional. The rooms are spacious and with the latest amenities. The view to the pool and to the balconies were breathtaking. When they ask about food preferences one week before the stay, we ask for western food for both dinner and breakfast and they arrange a mouthwatering christmas eve dinner table for our family of 15 people with a three course sit down menu. So the stay went so great and amazing.

Fabulous little piece of history we stayed in an enormous room Rose. Pristine gardens, infinity pool, that was very cold, but with views to die for... The staff were lovely and very attentive. Breakfast was great we only had dinner once and it was also nice. The bungalows are up in the mountains it's a 20 mins tuk tuk drive down to Kandy. So it's good to plan day trips down and stay the whole day if you don't want to be travelling up and down. Beautiful hotel highly recommended if you don't mind paying a little extra.

We like Namadi heights because it is a beautifully kept home built in the traditional Bungalow style. It sits high up overlooking the town of Kandy. Our room was tastefully furnished, the wall finish is of sealed clay brick giving a unique interior style. Nishi looked after us in a warm and gracious way providing tea in the morning and afternoon.breakfasts are presented to suit and are delicious. Nishi has several rescue dogs who come gathering around to greet you. We had some good conversation with Nishi and her husband Bhandu is knowledgable onSri Lankan cultural history Nishi can arrange for her trusted driver to take you to see the sights in Kandy and beyond. Namadi heights is ideally suited to the mature traveller interested in Sri Lankan traditions and its history

Loved to stay here __a highlight was the architect ure and history of the building ,our friendly and laid back host along with the incredible productive garden. Learnt traditional cooking methods overall the stay and aquite respite away from the hubbub of kandy . Wee won’t soon forget relaxing on the verandha. Breakfast also was a hit. Highly recommend
