Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Our stay at Bardia Eco Friendly Homestay was simply unforgettable! Shardul is an attentive and knowledgeable host, always making sure we had everything we needed and helping us enjoy the best of Bardia. His family is incredibly warm and welcoming, and we felt at home from the first moment. On safari, we were lucky to spot a tiger, rhino, and crocodile — a true once-in-a-lifetime experience! The food Sarita prepared was outstanding, honestly some of the best we had during our whole trip in Nepal. Everything was perfect — hospitality, comfort, food, and wildlife. Highly recommended!”

Wild Planet Eco Retreat has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bhurkīā. Among the various facilities are a bar and water sports facilities. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. We spent 4 days at Wildlife Planet and we definitely hope to be back one day. Lovely to walk around the area, tranquil place if you want to relax with spacious outdoor areas to do so, great food & very close to the National Park Entrance. Baba and all the guides' passion for wildlife and conservation were heartwarming to observe and admire. They definitely try their best to show you the wild, without being invasive to the wildlife and always respectful. Best wildlife experiences ever 😁! Also, appreciated the ecofriendliness not only in name; packed lunch during tours with no plastic and reusable stuff, refillable water available & encouraged. I hope the whole area remains this sustainable for years to come.

He is a very skilled guide with excellent English, who doesn't only have a lot of knowledge of the animals and plants, but also cares about safety and the wellbeing of the animals we observed. We were very lucky to even see two tigers on different days with him. I really appreciated his knowledge of birds too. Very happy to have had you as our guide Papu!

Krishna's wife and his team cooked delicious food and served me milk tea daily ;) This place offers you a paradise, quiet, surrounded by nature. You can go to Bardiya National Park with Krishna, he is an excellent guide and will do his best to see rhinos, elephants or even a tiger. I highly recommend this place for a longer stay. The jeep safari was unforgettable—I spotted tigers, rhinos, elephants, and deer in their natural habitat. The elephant-back safari and birdwatching tours offered a unique way to experience the park’s rich biodiversity. Rafting on the Karnali River was another highlight, with sightings of crocodiles and Gangetic dolphins.
After action-packed days, relaxing by the riverside, enjoying delicious Nepali food, and watching the sunset over the jungle was the perfect ending. This resort is a hidden gem and a must-visit for nature lovers!

We had an exceptional stay at Sunsetview. We made the booking thinking we would be there purely for the jungle and the safari, but in reality we got so much more than that. Every member of the team - all beautiful and extremely kind persons - is working tirelessly to provide the highest quality. Every small detail is thought through: from de delicious meals and snacks during the safaris, to the cleanliness & cosyness of the bungalows and bar/chill area, the flexibility in organisation of the safaris, the sustainability of the lodge (not just hollow words, but real impactful actions), and so on. Pramesh is a passionate storyteller and during the communal dinners, which we loved, we learned so many things about the national park and the surroundings, its conservation and life in the village. For us, coming from Belgium where real nature is very scarse, it’s wonderful to see how life in a village is intertwined with that of the jungle and its wildlife.
It’s difficult to describe in words how grateful we feel about everything we experienced here, but one thing is sure and that is that Sunsetview is one of the most special places we have ever stayed in. Initially we planned to be there for six days, we ended up staying nine and we still left with a heavy heart.
Big thanks to Pramesh & Noémie, Anit, Amrit, Jogot and Anita (and little Paris of course). You guys really inspired us. Because of everything what you do, the world gets to be a better place. Keep up the fantastic work! We hope to see you all again in the future.

What stood most out was the highly personal vibe from the owner and the entire staff. The location and rooms tick all the boxes for a lovely stay, a beautifull flower garden, super clean and really great food!!
Great location very near National Park Entrance. Most memorable was meeting the loveliest people, staff and owners, you could hope to meet. Did everything they could to give us, an elderly couple - a great stay. Good safari - forest trek and evening outing. Unbelievable value for money. Unreservedly recommend for a no frills stay that will stick in your memory
Bardia Eco Friendly homestay is in a beautiful location, the family is super friendly and the tours they host are great. The room is very clean and comfortable and the meals ars very tasty! Would definitely come back.
Great stay here! Baba and all the rest of the crew are wonderful. The place is very nice, clean and amazing location. Also, Baba and his brothers are the best guides !!
The property was perfect - very clean and well equipped with nice homely touches. Promesh, Naomi and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is tasty (especially the homemade bread)! They offered a safari and we had an amazing stay - we wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back!
Fantastic place, in a quiet area and very close to the jungle, the family is very very welcoming, the rooms are very clean and the best place where I have eaten in Nepal in the month that I have been here, typical products and everything created by their hands, which in my opinion mine and the best thing of all. From the first day we managed to spot tigers, rhinos and even a group of elephants which is very rare to spot in a group.
Staff were amazing Property simple but met all my needs. Superb location close to entrance to Bardia National Park. Staff at the lodge were very helpful, lodge comfortable and food good. The activities (the reason you go to a venue like this) were outstanding. Our guide saw to our every need, and we were able to see a magnificent range of birds and animals. They appreciated what we wanted to see and tried extra hard to allow us these opportunities.
- Restaurant area was really replenishing the vibe of wild. - Staff was really polite and humble. - In house budget friendly experienced guide. - They came in the middle of the night to pick us up from bus dropping point with reasonable charges of rickshaw! Which was like 18 kms away! - Room was spacious and mosquito net workes well.
The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. This place is the most affordable in the area with rooms with air conditioning, hot water and mosquito nest, which we loved. The restaurant menu was cheap too compared with other places we had stayed in the area. The staff is very friendly and goes beyond to help you (bought and took us to the bus station when we left).
