Pretty garden, big cold pool (for me the temperature was great, very refreshing) and a smaller warm one. The stuff is nice, breakfast was delicious. The room was specious, big bathroom. We had a lovely balcony with the pool and lake view. Overall, I loved it!

There are so many reasons to stay here, #1 being the family themselves. They are very friendly, all around good people. They were super welcoming, helped us with all of our plans and even invited us to join for dinner when it started raining. It was great to practice our Spanish (we are learning) and Angel was a very good teacher, helping us to improve. They made us a different breakfast each morning, including homemade tortillas. Would for sure stay here again if we found ourselves back in Guatemala. Thanks for everything!

Do yourself a favour and book a couple nights here because they fill up quickly (4 bed dorm), and you will love it :) Andrea the owner is a wonderful host and speaks perfect English to help with your queries - on my first night the wind was CRAZY and blew something over on the building site nextdoor which leaked water into the hostel. The floor flooded but I as soon as I told Andrea, she sorted it out right away. Very professional!

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant with organic food from the orchard in the extensive garden. Gorgeous. The rooms were spotless. Grounds were beautiful. Included breakfast delicious. We visited other towns around the lake and I loved how mellow Toliman, the town itself, was. Yea - it takes a while to explore from here but to us, that was great! It made for less of a touristy/party vibe like the other towns had. The hotel itself was perfect - Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.
