I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

LOVELY hosts who are ready to help you whenever you need something. The room is neat and clean and very nice. We stayed here for 7 nights and it was still too short. It is a walking distance to the beach where you can find sunbeds under palm trees and watch the sunset. Also the "beach boys" who rent out those sunbeds and make tours with you are a great crew, we had so much fun with them! Don't worry about the train noise. Yes, it's loud, but it my opinion it just belongs to Bentota and you will get used to it.
