Our room was fantastic. We had a living room area with a big TV and good English channels. There is a large fridge to keep your drinks and snacks cold. A table with 2 chairs for sitting at if working or to use for making coffee or tea with the kettle and mugs provided. A separate bedroom with a large king bed was super comfortable. The mattress was not too hard and the linen was pure cotton. A light duvet is perfect for the temperature. The pillows were 2 per person, 1 king and 1 normal and also so comfortable. We had a good-sized cupboard to hang our clothes, a safe, and an ironing board. The bathroom was en-suite with a good, hot shower, toilet, and basin. The bedroom opened up onto a backyard patio with comfortable benches to sit on if you wanted to be outside but still at your room. The aircon in both the living room and bedroom worked perfectly. They also provide a large umbrella for your use. The swimming pool is lovely, with deck chairs, soft cushions, and shade provided. They also give you swimming pool towels. There is a good-sized gym which we did not use but it looked fully stocked with all the necessary equipment. We ordered room service a few times and the service and food were very good. The actual dining room is fantastic and we enjoyed an evening feasting on a Sri Lankan buffet with loads of different dishes. The staff were all amazing and so helpful. We were able to park our car on the premises where a full-time guard is stationed. They even washed the car for us. It was sad to say goodbye but we loved our stay here in Jaffna.

Absolutely lovely stay at Munril Guest! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with both air conditioning and a fan. The villa itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and green setting just a few minutes by tuk-tuk from the city center, a perfect balance of quiet and convenience. The facilities are excellent, but what really stands out is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They even offered free rides to local sights, which was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaffna!

Lone Star Residence is newly built and furnished to exceptionally high standards. It is an inviting, spacious, hospitable place to stay with excellent facilities - kitchen especially but in truth, all rooms. Location - 15 mins taxi Palaly Int Airport; 5 mins drive Inuvil railway station; 10/15 mins drive Jaffna; 5 mins drive Chunnakam. The actual physical location is attractive in its serenity. Its located in a quiet lane on Manipay Road overlooking agricultural land owned/rented by smallholders. Noise and external interference is absolutely minimal.

I booked a homestay through Booking.com and had the most heartwarming experience staying there with my dad. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. The host, his wife, and their only son were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even cooked us a lovely meal, which made the stay feel even more special. The place was spotlessly clean, peaceful, and full of warmth. We never felt like guests—we felt like we were at home. Their kindness truly made our trip memorable. I still find myself missing the place and the people. I’m so grateful for this stay and would absolutely return. Thank you to Booking.com for helping us find such a gem.

We had such a wonderful stay at Nallarun illam! My husband, two children and I shared a family room, and we had ample space and ample air conditioning. The room is off of a shared kitchen/lounge space and a balcony, which was really nice for preparing snacks and relaxing. Everything was very clean and nicely situated. The biggest highlight of this place was our wonderful hosts. The host family could not have been more gracious. We happened to be in Jaffna for the new year, and they took us under their wing, sharing their traditions (including treats, dressing, a visit to the temple and fireworks at night). Their sweet kids played with our kids and, all in all, they made us feel completely at home in this beautiful city. We're very grateful for their generosity and hospitality and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

This property is super clean, it shines .!The proprietor is helpful and he allowed us to leave bags in our room when we we went on a trip to delft island, basically he gave us the rooms free for that extra night as he was quiet at the beginning of the season in Jaffna , he is a kind relaxed gentleman, he is not doing food at the moment but he provided a good kitchen with microwave , kettle and fully stocked with cutlery and crockery in his beautiful home apartment, the apartment had a huge terrace balcony for relaxing. It was absolute bliss. We were three couples travelling together and we had the entire house to ourselves. The bedrooms were super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff (especially Janakan) were incredibly attentive, lovely and made everything work beautifully. There really was nothing we lacked. The breakfast prepared by Mihla was delicious and so personal. If you are looking for an intimate and local experience then I couldn’t recommend this enough. If you prefer big hotels with a resteraunt/breakfast buffet then I think the other Jetwing in Jaffna is probably more for you.

Location is good. Room is very clean .my room cleaning boy (nishanth) is doing his jobb very will. Breakfast is very very good. Restaurant employees are caring us when we entered to the restaurant. All straff and employees are very very helpful to us. North gate hotell is super.. Super...Super.....Thanks to North gate hotel.🙏

Very clean, nice size rooms, secure and nice location. Also nice breakfast and staff friendly! Hot water shower. Quiet and hear local noises of ice cream and bakery vans. Also church bells which was nice and the cows.

The location is very convenient near Nallur Temple and Rio Ice-Cream Parlour. There are good restaurants nearby. The room was good value for money, had all the basic amenities, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The house is very clean and equipped with all necessary appliances. The rooms are large and there's plenty of space with 2 queen beds each. The bathrooms were again clean and the water pressure was good. The housekeeper was so nice and welcoming. He helped us with all our requests and questions. The location was ideal as well since it was only 5 mins away from Jaffna town by vehicle and there's plenty of good restaurants nearby.
