Everything was great. We walked in without booking but the receptionist was very helpful even with language barrier thanks to google translate. Room was spacious enough, clean and bed was really comfy. There is a morning market next to the hotel where you can buy breakfast and bring back to the hotel and enjoy it at the lounge area with complimentary coffee and tea.

The location is quite close to both the nearest bus stop and the train station. The lady working there is quite nice. I would suggest learning some basic Japanese so it’s easier to understand the instructions easier, otherwise they are written in English. The facilities ie washroom, shared room and kitchen space are clean, and the bedrooms themselves are spacious and warm! It’s a rare experience to be able to stay in a traditional 100+ year old house, so I def recommend it. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic experience to stay in a traditional Japan house that is over 100 years old. Great location in old part of the town, with fantastic restaurants and bars within walking distance. The owner of the property and the staff were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay a very memorable experience. Thank you so much🙏. Amazing room with great staff who are very helpful. You have to pay cash a lot and they called me a taxi many times, as well as a free shuttle service to the staton at the end of my trip. The room was large and spacious and absolutely beautiful - the view was amazing! Although and old and dated place, it was still extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also good had a very vast majority of choices
