The homestay was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and clean with a nice hot shower. The brothers who run the homestay are very friendly and helpful. Also, you should try the Kerala breakfast, it was delicious and the portion was extremely generous. The property is located on a quiet canal on the edge of the city, which is a great location as it is peaceful and only a stone's throw away from the backwaters! Overall, an amazing place to stay whilst in Alleppey.

Its very conveniently located - few steps from the beach. And you feel like at home. Hosts are very nice - and really helpful - treating you as part of family - helped me organize my bus ticket, and made me a local dessert that I couldn’t find in any restaurant, and we spent evening chatting on a terrace. Mayflower is the best homestay we have stayed in throughout all our trip in Kerala! Definitely the cleanest one, beautiful house with great vibes! Our hostess Suzan is incredible!! Helped us book tuk tuks and told us a few places to visit in our short stay. And her cooking just chef's kiss! Best breakfast we had with traditional Kerala dishes, fresh organic fruits and great coffee!

We are a couple and went to Alappuzha/Alleppey and asked our host for a boattrip. Fortunately we found Jose Kalappura, he organized a convenient tailormade experience on two private traditional boats with modern facilities. We were lucky, because beforhand we didn't know the difference between cheaper tours on big boats vs. smaller boats with individual trip and different private experience. We startet with a tour on a small boat and went through smaller channels having local Breakfast, bigger boats can't pass there. Ad 12:00 we skipped on a different boat with private panoramic area on the first floor. We where alone, a really romantic trip. Having typical local fresh Lunch cooked on board by a chef, we stopped on the course for sightseeing. After a slow trip on a quite channel we could see a beautyful sunset and we had Dinner. We had a good Night in a full equipped clean room as we would expect in a city hotel. Our Captain found a good spot away from the busy areas where we enjoyed a beautyful sunrise. After a local Breakfast we left the boat with a big smile because of this outstanding experience. Thanks again to Jose and the Crew.

This is exceptional place runned by very profesional family, which provide excellent multiple service. Apart from just homestay, you can order all day food (Kerala or Europe style), go for a backwater trip, make a loundry and probably ask for many more. I stayed in a small but pleasent room with everything I neded plus garden access.

I was in a private room in this hostel, which was big and clean. The commutation was very good and the owner both nice and knowledgeable. There wasn’t a great deal around the immediate location but all that was needed were only a short walk away. The area felt very safe both day and night.

    The location is good no doubt. But remember this is a low budget property. So the lawns and exteriors are ordinary at best. No particular beautification or lawning or decor exists. It maybe a good fit for cheap long stays. But definitely a No-No for short visits and families who are used to a bit of luxury.
