Wow, the location is incredible. Right on the water on its own beach. We were there in winter and were the only guests. The host was kind and very helpful. The apartment is great comfortable, and has all you need. I definitely recommend staying here. Also near to the charming sfakion and for walks I recommend the dramatic Imbros gorge, or the walk from Sfakion to Loutro (or half way to Glyka Nera, the walk is for the more adventurous types) and if you time it right you can get the boat back to Sfakion.

Our stay at Lykos was truly exceptional, thanks to the warm and friendly hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful location, just a short boat ride from Loutro, which has its own unique charm. We spent three blissful days swimming, reading, dining at the lovely restaurant, and stargazing under the serene night sky. It was the perfect place to unwind in one of the most tranquil settings we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. A huge thank you to Pavlos, Hussein, and the wonderful women who worked quietly behind the scenes, making our stay unforgettable.

A very nicely reconstructed traditional house. Spacious, clean and equipped with everything needed for solo travelers who don't like all inclusive. Beautiful view from the terrace of Mount Kástro (we were at the top). Fres is a quiet and peaceful mountain village. Church bells and sheep bells completed the romantic atmosphere that we love so much.

Excellent, quiet, private, big and relaxing place to stay. Very clean. Great contact with the host. The house has a lovely view of the mountains. Beautiful garden with the view at the olives trees. Great restaurant Platanos is within walking distance of the house. In the fiiendly village there is also an amazing observation point towards the sea, there is the starting point for the long, seashore walk to Loutro. Highly recommended!

A charming, new, well-equipped house in a cute little village. The house is very clean and aesthetic. The house has a lovely view of the mountains. There is a beautiful yard with grass and an outdoor shower. It is a short drive from the beaches. A good restaurant is within walking distance of the house. In the village there is also an amazing observation point towards the sea (you can reach it on foot or by car). Highly recommended!

Clean and comfortable apartment with spacious terrace and great views. Away from all the tourist crowds, yet close to the village with a few restaurants, bakery and grocery shop. Ideally located for beautiful walks in the area.

Great location for hiking, seeing a deferent side of the Iceland. The owner and his family were amazing and very hospitable. The food was great and very affordable as the rooms were as well. I wish we stayed for a longer time.

Lovely family run rooms in the middle of the village with excellent food and service. The room was large and had great views over the village and mountains from the private terrace. Everything was very clean and well maintained with a nice atmosphere as a focal point for the comings and goings of the locals.

I was surprised by the quality of the room, especially the bathroom. It felt like a 4 star hotel room, except for the beds. The staff were warm and friendly and the location exquisite.

Modern, very clean, functionally furnished new apartment. Great tips from the host for trips to the surrounding area. Perfect base for excursions to the White Mountains, gorges, and beautiful beaches of southern Crete. 600 meters above sea level, and even in the greatest heat, perfect climate, within 20 minutes to the port of Chora Sfakia. Magnificent panoramic views from the terrace to the sea. Easy access, free parking. Worth coming back again.
