The staff made the resort spectacular. Check in time was at 3 pm, but our flight arrived at 8, and the stopped by hoping to just drop off our luggage so we could tourist about the island, but the staff invited us to an extra day of the fantastic breakfast and rushed to have our room ready around 12. The staff went way above and beyond to take care of us and give a great experience. Especially for the price, I cannot recommend this resort enough. You're getting a 5-star resort for the price of a mediocre hotel.

We had a perfect stay in Kamari. Very attentive hosts, comfortable room, everything top notch. The bed was very comfortable. We usually made oatmeal for breakfast, the kitchen was perfect for that. I imagine you could prepare similar simple meals, but maybe not more complex ones. We loved that each window and the terrace door had mosquito nets applied. The room is spacious, we could even do a simple home workout in it :) The location is also great, two minutes to get to the beach. It's worth to note that this end of the beach had bigger waves, so we usually walked more (~10 mins) to get to the calmer beach area, but we were fine with that. Also, as others mentioned, the planes are really close, but they don't really fly between 23:00 and 6:30, so we were fine with that, too. Otherwise it's a really quiet and calm location :)

Regarding feedback, I wanted to highlight 3 staff members who we feel made our stay special and went above and beyond for us. Firstly was Hara, she was incredible, there was nothing she couldn't help us with, she was always informing me of any changes and making our stay super special. Secondly was Konstantina. Every time we would speak to her, she was always super helpful and informative. Always ready to help us with our breakfast, lunch and dinner bookings. Even seeing if we could book another day when dinner was full. And fitting us in when we came back in the evening, just to have one of their amazing desserts. And lastly was Adriana, who we had for our spa treatments. The treatments we had with Adriana were outstanding; she was the best!

A family run hotel on the quieter side of town with a gorgeous view of the sea. Everything-shopping, restaurants and the bus stand were all within walking distance. The breakfast spread was fabulous! The rooms were clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

This place was way above our expectations. George and his whole team, especially girl from office have made our stay unforgettable. This place is just a gift. It’s a bit away from the busy and somewhat overcrowded part of the town which makes it absolutely special. You are like in a serene retreat, at the same time having all the facilities of a nice resort place within a short walking distance. To my mind, it is simply the best place in Kamari. Apartments have its own private and very cute path to the nice beach with picturesque sunrises. The house inside was cozy and stylish including the terrace with a breath-taking view overlooking the sea and a beautiful garden. The place is quite close to the airport but not too close in a way it might bother. Very convenient logistically. Ancient Thira is just up the hill, you can hike there or take a taxi. It is also close to the modern Thira city (~15 min on the bus) and from there you can get wherever to discover the island. So being located in Kamari was just perfect for me. Communication with Adriana was always the best, she even was so kind to drop my friend and I to the airport. WiFi was also good as I made some working calls. I highly recommend it!

Ancient Thera apartments were as depicted in photos. Very Good value. The pool was a nice touch. white and blue colors are traditional and it makes you feel like you are a part of that tradition. Rooms are clean, breakfast is included. the hotel is close enough to the beach so you don't walk too much and far enough that engine sounds are not audible. overall, we recommend.
