Benjamin helped me to go to the apartment from the train station which was great help for me. He replies questions timely and clearly. He is a kind person. Everything was according to the description: the kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, washing machine and soap. It was clean, located in a quiet place and easy to get around. It was a good stay. This is a stunning, large, very well-converted old house in the centre of the town. Wooden floors, large rooms, beautiful decor, quirky features including the spiral staircase. Kitchen had everything you needed (apart from a washing machine, but as it looks like there are still rooms to be converted, maybe this will be added later). Arrival details were accurate and the owner responded almost instantly when I contacted her. There are 2 showers. It was very easy to park on the street outside - free overnight. The house and area felt very safe and the centre of town with many restaurants is only a few minutes’ walk away. There is a little Carrefour around the corner that stays open until 9pm. We arrived late and it was also pouring with rain, so we didn’t use the courtyard, but it looked like it would be a nice area to sit out in.

Details on booking.com wrong. There is WiFi and towels and linen free. Very friendly owner. Short drive into Lisieux and to a massive hypermarket Town not brilliant. Basilica stupendous. Will return.
