We were lucky to receive an upgrade to a room with wonderful sea & lagoon view. Rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage, large TV and a super balcony. Ours had a view over the amazing private beach that surrounds the Palace hotel, over the entrance to the lagoon and all the ship entering and the desert on the other side. Unforgettable panorama at dawn (05.30h in April) and technicolor sunsets :-). Totally quiet at night. Super attentive room service; waterbottles and fruit. - The garden with the numerous large palm trees, its large lawns and its sea of flowers is meticulously kept. Fresh towels are provided daily for the pool and the beach. The very long pontoon offers fantastic views for everybody. Snorkeling is possible from there or on a large portion of the beach. Colourful fish everywhere. Highly recommended scuba diving center is right near the Palace Pickalbatros with lessons and excursions. - We loved the food, especially the egyptian and the indian dishes. We started our days with omelettes, pancakes freshly made for breakfast, incredible goyavas fresh and pressed. -The entrance to the Palace Pickalbatros hotel is truly majestic, as is the large lobby and the bar with its terrace overlooking the artificial lagoon of the neighboring hotel . - All staff in the amazing Palace Pickalbatros hotel are very well trained and respectful. They work really hard to make guests feel at home and pampered. A big thanks and congratulations to the manager, Mr Mina for the amazing job.

Very well organised. Huge choice of local and international meals and food, all prepared with lots of taste and flavour. Staff was very friendly and helpful. And amazingly they give a very personal touch to the service. This hotel has its own house reef for diving and snorkelling. In short exquisite place for anyone looking for a fantastic holiday at the red sea.

Great value for money – peaceful stay with beautiful reef and pool I stayed at Marina Resort in Port Ghalib and was pleasantly surprised by the combination of price and quality. The hotel has a charming traditional Arabian décor that creates a peaceful and nostalgic atmosphere. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful coral reef just off the beach – perfect for snorkeling lovers. The pool was large, clean, and very relaxing, a great spot to unwind during the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was good. Amazing food! A lot of all-inclusive resorts don’t have the best quality of food but Jaz Amara really had great food! Snorkeling at the beach is one of the best snorkeling places I’ve ever seen and it’s right in front of the hotel. Beautiful coral with amazing fish and you easily spot turtles and stingrays as well. I haven’t been able to see a dugong but they are also there. The service is great and the animation team is amazing. Every night top-notch entertainment, it was so much fun. The entire hotel is very clean as well. 0 complaints (and if you do, they fix it right away!)

The hotel is very comfortable and it looks modern and new. Highlight for the food, with a lot of variety and quality. The beverages are also good, we really liked the Sky Bar and the cocktails served there were above average. The a la carte restaurant was very good, the staff was very attentive and we had a lot of food. The beach is good even though we would prefer a little more privacy. The wifi worked well and good speed.
