It was a pleasure staying at Hotel Savana. The building as such is just beautiful and the rooms are very special with a great view. Great location in a very nice little town. We enjoyed it a lot!!! I lived the old colonial time house, which was transformed into the hotel. Renovation is really well done which preserves the spirit of the building and is very atmospheric. Emmanuel, chef of staff is very friendly and helpful. He also makes great cocktails! Best place to stay in Sao Filipe.

There are no words to describe how we felt at Fogo Boutique Hotel in what now seems to have been an amazing dream in a natural paradise. If Fogo is an island of spirit, of a breathtaking nature, and wonderful people, this hotel is another must in the island. The views are absolutely amazing. Tony made us feel like one of his family, he was really helpful, even showed us the local life, and he is GREAT chef. All the personal was lovely, always willing to help, chat even with our language difficulties, and a special thank to Micaela, who was always more than attent to us. It was one of the greatest stays we had in our lives. The hotel is an experience itself. If we go back to Cabo Verde, we will absolutely repeat here.

We were welcomed by Kaïda and her son, they are very kind people with who we always had fun. Beside, she has been helpfull for everything (places to eat or going out / hikings / taxi) The room is clean and everything look like the pics on the website. The hotel is located 5min from the city center and offer a great view on the ocean with the beach just underneath ! Thank you for everything and hope we will come back!

Perfect studio fully equipped, spacious, clean and beautiful. I cooked and slept very well. The host and the cleaning lady were very nice and welcoming. It's in a calm street near restaurants and markets. One of my best room in Cap Vert!

The location is perfect. Right at the start for the hike to Fogo. The location in booking is (as of today) not correct, its right in the center of the village. But the owners are superfriendly and can send you the details via WhatsApp. I arrived late because I was hiking till sunset and he waited outside on the street, and after check in I got a really delicious meal. The room has 3 comfy beds, enough plugs to charge and extra blankets. The bathroom is modern and has a shower (unlucky only with cold water). In the main building there are tables and chairs and a small bar. There is beer, wine, softdrinks, water.... Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Breakfast is included, but I didn't use it as I was out hiking. From the house you have perfect views of Fogo. I can really recommend this place.

What a lovely family! Booked it last minute and didn't expect much. But got an excellent place to stay! It is clean and cosy place for very good price. Good location as well. I even had the view to volcano through my window.
