My heart goes to the staff that welcomed from the first day. Fabio behind the counter able to work under pressure like a giant. Ilaria at the reception desk, managing the operations perfectly. Stella at the bar which always has a chat with the guests. The kitchen which prepared a perfect lunch with my allergens. The hostel has relaxed vibe, perfect to return after the day out and rest.The pool is awesome and refreshing, the kitchen and the bathroom well cleaned in a tropical climate. The wildlife is just amazing koalas, kangaroos and possums play under the birds all hours. Amazing the dormitory. Spacious and fine clean, with a genius keyless door. The big mango tree at the entrance really set the vibes. Hammocks, bean bags and couch do the rest. Inside the gates there is massive space with camping area and spaced cabins. You can get lost looking at the big palms or following a curlew. Will return

The place was so clean! It felt so fancy and absolutely loved the plunge pool which also had a TV and mini fridge down stairs with it. The staff were so welcoming but also just gave us our space. Location was perfect, easy walk to restaurants and clothes shops, bottle shops and the beach. Close to the ferry terminal and bus stops to be able to access the whole island. The beds were comfortable! There were really no negatives, I can't wait to stay again!

Had everything we needed and we were allowed to store our bags before and after we checked in/out which was great. Fab location, we hired a car for 1 day and then used the bus for the other 2 days and the place is only a short walk to the bus stop.

The house is beautiful and has everything you need in it. It's only a short drive to Horseshoe Bay. The pool and outdoor entertainment area is superb. The kids loved the loft space. The outdoor shower and toilet was great to have as a second bathroom.

    The location was perfect - a short walk from Horseshoe bay. All of the staff were so friendly and obliging. We rented a family room which had more than enough space for 3 of us. It was very clean. We got many recommendations on activities and places to eat from the staff and locals. Magnetic island is small, so 3 nights was perfect for us. We loved the morning yoga with Ruth! 10/10 breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hostel and would return :)

    We loved the location and surrounds. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well set up for a group. Liz was an exceptional host and she went out of her way to assist. Her friendly and helpful approach made our stay at Horseshoe especially easy and enjoyable. Our family is clamouring to come back ASAP.
