At this peaceful place, with Shawn (and his marvelous children), Junior, Shanta and Jahkim, we found a home far from home. Just the view was enough to just stay there and breathe. The room we stayed in was large and bright, with a little terrace with a table and two chairs and the same terrific view as the bar and the restaurant. At the beginning we were taken aback from the lack of a door in the bathroom (only a curtain to separate it from the bedroom) but it was easily forgotten as we went on with the vacation and we found ourselves more relaxed.  It is a place where you can talk to other guests, where you can ask for a coffee at 7 in the morning (even if the breakfast is from9) and it will be given to you with a smile, where you can ask for the eggs just like you want them (my friend appreciated very much the ‘jiggle jiggle eggs’) and they will be as happy as you when the result is what you asked for. We couldn't ask for better hosts.  The food was excellent, especially when we gave Junior and Shanta free rein on what to cook: fish and chicken a little spicy, the glazed pork… everything was really good. Shawn is always there if you ask for advice or a taxi or whatever it is that you need and Jahkim will tailor the perfect cocktail just for you. We really had the best time.  There is a little hill to reach the rooms from the street and the bar.  There is only a street to cross to reach the beach..  and what a beach it is!

Great location - just few minutes walk to West Bus Terminal, taxi stand, and supermarkets. VC Bird statue and cruise port are also nearby. Dr Fiona introduced room and facility once I arrived. She also allowed me to use room after checkout (so I left my luggage). Room is very spacious and clean. Have good AC in both rooms.

We loved everything about this place. Clean, well maintained, comfortable studio , beautiful view, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, even more ( coffee maker, blender) ; the pool is nice and clean. There’s a washing/dryer we could use and was great especially if you pack light as we did. The position is great, too, you have access a to Yepton beach, which is just a few steps away or at about 20 minutes walk is one of our favorite beaches in Antigua, Deep Bay beach. Good communication with the host, gave us clear directions and easy self check-in. Definitely recommend.

This was great studio apartment, perfectly suited for couples visiting the island of Antigua. The place was well equipped and we didn't need anything extra during our stay. Our apartment (condo) in Pillar Rock Condominium was one of the ones closest to Yepton Beach and with lovely views over it (we had a condo upstairs rather than ground floor). In the morning, the sun shines in directly through the windows that overlook the bay. (There is an electric blind to cut out sunlight for anyone wishing to stay asleep longer.) The condo is fully air-conditioned. The windows overlooking the bay can be opened but are covered with anti-mosquito netting. (Due to the constant sea-breeze, mosquitos are rarely a serious problem on Antigua.) Although we brought our beach towels with us, the condo was already equipped with plenty of towels, with the bathroom being fully equipped for every need. The condo has two walled mounted flat screen Samsung TVs (one of which was very modern and setup for stream Netflicks, Youtube, DIsney, etc.). The WiFi was easy to connect to and worked well during our stay there. The condominium has a lovely swimming pool with a shallow end suitable for children. The deep end is very deep in the middle, though only around 5ft deep around the edge, so it would be safe to dive into. The water in the pool was always warm and clean. We had excellent WA communication with the manager of the condominium complex, who also arranged our car hire and a local driving license. There are no shops on site, so car hire is recommended. I'd recommend getting an e-sim for ones phone before visiting so that one can use the SatNav facility within Google Maps for navigating around the island. (It was hard work with a paper map that we had to use before I got a local sim card working correctly in my phone!) A local supermarket (Perry Bay) is a short drive away and there is a local fast food place (Green Apple) in the nearby village of Five Islands.

    We throughly enjoyed our stay at True North! Everything was newly refitted and the villa itself is ideally located on North Finger of Jolly Harbour. We’ve stayed in other villas previously that were in need of redecorating so it was an added bonus that true north was so clean and modern. Literally 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach, which was never busy and always stunning. So glad we stayed here and will definitely be back!
